the only way someone can judge wii controls is to own one. playing a demo doesn't count coz of the steep learning curve.

zelda- ppl say it had slapped on controls? wtf did you think a sword swinging motion would be like? fishing was great and the pointer works fine.

red steel- yes, clunky. could've learned something from zelda. still fun as hell though multli-wise

sonic- sonic is about going really fast, not stopping to talk to shadow the loser and amy the senseless stereotype of all women, sonic is uses as a racing like game while you tilt the remote like a steering wheel. this is the best way to play sonic.

call of duty 3- i dunno i thought it was good. a glitch or two but i'm sure they were the other versions. maybe you people who don't like pointing have C.P.? (tasteless joke, i know. couldn't help it)

excite truck- motion controls work better than motorstorm's motion controls.

warioware- don't even get me started. game was a little short for me but the uses of the remote, or baton as they say, were amazing.

i think the ppl who judge Wii controls on here haven't even played it for more than 20 minutes and 2nd off where have you seen motion controls in gaming like this to compare it to?

Haven't tried a Wii yet, they have them on a store near me, but no demo kiosk and I don't know of anyone who bought one.

I agree. It does take times to get used to the Wii controls in certain games. However once you do going to another game isn't as hard. I must stress that you need to have a nice space between yourself and the sensor bar. A lot of problems people have I think come from being to close to the bar, it being in a bad position relative to where they are sitting or standing and bad batteries in the Wii remote.

All three mess with how the controls response. The first two are easy to take care of, yet always check to make sure your batteries have a charge (getting the new recharger yet or rechargeable batteries with a recharger, they usually come together around $10 to $13 in most places I think (4 or 2 batteries) is a good investment for the Wii).

That and make sure the remotes sensitivity is set depending how large your TV is and how far away you are. You do this when you first setup the system but if you move it you should double check to make sure it's to your liking. The manual says all this as well I believe, though I bet a LOT of people don't even bother reading those things.
