a disgusting design for a controller; nothing more than a gimmick. only casual gamers who play games once every blue moon will find something to enjoy in the Wii's lackluster library. the ''unfloppables'' all flopped. :lol:

wii fanboys are delusional and in major denial; they're claiming their system is ''fun'', only because they waited such a long time for it, but failed to live up to the hype :lol:. what is there to enjoy from a system with graphics only slightly better than the original xbox's? some games rely heavily on graphics to convey a certain mood; for instance, Bioshock, try playing that game on low or even medium on PC; you won't be engrossed at ALL. so you see, graphics DO play a major part in games, and it's pathetic to sheep say otherwise. :lol::lol:

but hey, gameplay is always first as we know. and i couldn't agree more. but this ''wiimote'' is just a fad that'll die out soon. pretty soon, dev's will be too annoyed by the wii's technical restrictions; why waste your time making a game that looks like something from the PS2 or Xbox library? but of course, sheep will continue to follow nintendo, despite the fact that major leaps and bounds have occured in the gaming world; major techological advances, amazing new engines, physics, etc.. yet they praise a game featuring a rehashed plumber with a swedish moustache :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

it's even more comical when sheep say KH3 will be coming to the Wii :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: keep dreaming

well atleast you got a KH game on the DS. another failure for nintendo :lol:

so let's see what the wii has to offer..

-horrendous graphics
-controller that ought to be nicknamed to ''gimmick''
-WORST ports of each multiplat, if it even gets it :lol:

yet sheep say it's the best console :lol:

the only reason its been selling out like hotcakes is because nintendo makes them in such low quantities, they want their fans to bark for more, they know this, and they take advantage :lol:

but hey, nintendo loves you right? :lol::lol::lol:

Fact: The first NES controler was called a gimmick by many so called expects. Nintendo would be so lucky if the Wii got to be as big has the NES.

The DS touchscreen was called a gimmick.

The rumble was called a gimmick "heck I called it a gimmick also".

There is nothing wrong with being a gimmick.

I'm starting a petition to ban the use of smileys, this has taken it too far. The smileys combined with the horrendous grammar, hipocritical argument with nothing solid to be based on except opinions, and the fanboyism just made my eyes bleed.

I've been with Nintendo from the beginning, and even I don't think OoT is the "best game ever". On another note, you started gaming last generation, right?

i started in the NES era ;) nintendo's golden age was NES-N64. i loved donkey kong, the original mario, and lots of others, but nintendo is using successes from the past as a bandaid to cover the failures from the present.

why do people hold game reviewers in such high regard? you don't need a master's degree or a PhD from college to become a game reviewer. hell, all you need is a broad vocabulary, knowledge on gaming and gaming history, and an open mind. anyone on this board could become a game reviewer. so stop acting like reviewers are angels descended from Heaven. :|

It's inferior technologically, but the games are fun as hell. Also, gamerankings a compilation ofprofessional review sites have indeed said that OOT is the best game ever, SMG the second best game, and Metroid Prime the third best game.

Sad too, all those flops you mentioned, I can match with a PS3 flop that was hyped ten times more.

Uncharted: 9.5 GOTY 2007! 8.0 :(

Lair: 8.5! It looks great! 4.5 :(

Heavenly Sword: AAA for sure! AA... :(

R&C: AAAA teh SMG killer! 7.5 :(

There are so many more I can name too...

Another sad note, my PS3 is covered in a sheet of dust. 360 and Wii are nice and squeeky clean.

I suppose that the TC is the same guy who thinks that dual analogs beat Keyboard+Mouse when it comes to shooters. Personally, I think that the SIXAXIS is the gimmick controller; it's stuck on both worlds, but content to stay there. The Wiimote is the superior controller when it comes to shooters; it's just plain faster, and it's the reason why a hermit like me is drawn to the Wii in the first place.

He also said that both Metroid Prime 3 and Zelda TP are AAA on gamerankings. He called Gamespot biased and said they have no credibility left. Wii sales are also at a record high.

He basically said that the Wii was the best console out on the market. He cited GameRankings and showed how good Super Mario Galaxy is. He also said that both Metroid Prime 3 and Zelda TP are AAA on gamerankings. He called Gamespot biased and said they have no credibility left. Wii sales are also at a record high.
