Because they care more about the games and not about how good the graphics are or how good the online play is(well few of them), it's also a console for a family to enjoy, plus it's the most unique out of the PS3 and 360. Heck I want one of those bad boys myself.

I've seen people who have a piece of **** car and a piece of **** house, yet they have a huge HDTV with s PS3, 360, Wii, etc, etc, and there's no way they can afford the stuff. Some of you need to learn that people can buy stuff they can't afford without any problems at all; it's not hard! You willsee when you get older, trust me.

Last year, people in the U.S.A. spent more money then they earned. There are too many idiots with credit cards running around, buying stuuff that they can't afford.

oh i had a wii for about 1 month and I got bored of it, i returned it and got some REAL games for my 360

Well, I'm going to assume, judging by your sig/avatar, that you are a 360 fan. There is nothing wrong with that. However, I have a decent gaming PC, which hooks into the HDTV I am buying in the next couple of weeks. Why would I buy a 360 when Microsoft is kind enough to give me all of its compelling exclusives on my PC a year later (or simultaneously, in the case of Bioshock)?

Edit: I have a Wii, the above was my reasoning for buying it over a 360. I think its kinda obvious why I wouldn't buy a PS3.
