according to http://nexgenwars.com/ the wii is only 500,000 units away from taking xbox360 out of the first place. Maybe in november, in the wii first aniversary they already achieved that goal. PS3 will get the first place maybe in 2009...what do you say?

On the other hand i believe that the wii will lose its appeal as true gamers will begin too see it as something that just appeals to the casual consumers who will probably play it for a month and then stick it in the basement.

The 360 has been out for a year longer than the competition so it has more games and therefore also many good quality titles.

dont try to be smart, we all know that nintendo is trying to appeal to the casual and not the hardcore consumer (they themselves have stated this), so in the end there will be less marios and more nintendogs and wii fit's.

People are saying that since wii launch. And guess what: It's been a year and people who bought the wii a year ago continues to play it so....
