the ds and psp took some time to get their games out and for people to start buying them just like the wii and ps3

and through it all ds owned the psp no matter how many great games the psp put out there so the wii will own (and it right as you read) the ps3 no matter how great of a game killzone 2 is, metal gear solid 4, or final fantasy 13

who cares, most people bought wii for wii sports and wii games

UNLIKE the DS, they bought wii for what it is, NOT what games they could buy for it. The DS they bought for games, so therefore WII =/= DS

Ever look at the DS's first year? It was TERRIBLE. People were definitely buying the DS for what it was, not its games.

Actually PSP was lacking for a long time in the games department. To many developers thought they could just port Playstation console games to PSP and that people would buy it. People want different games on their handhelds, it took awhile for developers to realize that. That's what hurt PSP.

PS3 and Wii are totatlly different, this time PS3 has the games, but it is still out of reach price wise for a lot of people.

Non-gamers bought the DS before gamers did, especially since Nintendogs was the first real million-seller the DS had. Gamers started buying the DS only after the games came, and the same will happen with the Wii.

You bash the wii on a dialy basis using the "cheap" and the fad argument that has pretty much been proven false. People said the same thing about the DS is you didnt realize and we all see how that turned out
