Legend of zelda OOT: 10 bucks for the best game ever

Xbox 360, 15 bucks for 3 new maps

Tons of great games that need patches, dlc etc > few great games that don't.

It's more or less a given that we're all going to buy a Wii when Zelda comes out. Otherwise, Metroid Prime is great but I need more reasons than that to buy an overpriced Gamecube.

Your reasons make no sense. Metroid or brawl aren't on 360 so can't say what they would be like. Metroid Trilogy on 1 disc is dominated by Orange Box on 1 disc, IMO. I don't really mind getting patches to fix bugs, I have a few games that I would love to get patched for Wii, it's not like every Wii game is bug free. Wii is a good console, but I would definately place it last out of all the systems I own.

So I guess it's a shame I own a Gaming PC, a 360 and a PS3...Doom_HellKnight

It's all in your perspective. The more retro gamer will lean towards the Wii due to it's low prices and a library full of classic titles (like OoT) and remakes of the games they played as kids. But this generation won't care about paying a lot of money for games, and like the more realistic graphics. I know I like my Wii.

Best console this gen because of one game: Super Mario Galaxy. PS2 won last gen because its cheap, Wii will do the same here.

My only complaint is that you need another console to go along with a Wii because there are some high quality multiplats this gen, and the Wii misses out on all of them.

As far as exclusives it is definitely a good system. I wouldn't put it ahead of the Xbox, DS, or PC though.

If I had a 360, PS3, and Wii, I would play the Wii more. It has more fun games than the mature doom and gloom FPS/TPS/RPG same old games of the other two. I would play games like GT5, LittleBigPlanet, Flower, Braid, Viva Pinata, SSF IV, and Bayonetta but I would still play games like Tiger Woods, Boom Blox, Monster Hunter 3, Brawl, Muramasa, BlastWorks, TvC, Excitebots, and Mario Galaxy more because they are just more fun. Wii is the funnest console right now and isnt that what video games are all about.

Hah have not played Wii for a year, will probably take it out and play when Galaxy 2 come. Ps3 and PC is so much better imo...

TC seems trollish, but the Wii is my favourite console of this gen. Not only does it have some of the best installments yet of my favourite franchises, it also is the home of tons of great niche games that you wouldn't think of playing at first, but not regret once you did. It pains me to see how much hate it gets from the fanboys, if only because bashing a console because it is just not for you is pointless. It's like the 'kiddy' argument from the previous generations all over again, only this time it's a bunch of kids who only care about graphics, claiming to be too 'hardcore' for the Wii, completely oblivious to the fact that they only like mainstream blockbusters that get 9.5+ grades on Gamespot.

It's so boring.

Actually, yes they do. If I had to give one release this gen a 10, it would be MPT.

The PS3 has things to say about that Uncharted 2 and many other exclusives as well as great multiplatform games.

you do understand that pretty much every game on the virtual console can be played on an emulater on your pc for free? and in oot's case it looks condierably sharper........
