Wii is the best for multiplayer games?

I sure cant find very many multiplayer games for the X360 or PS3 unless it's a sports game. Could that be the reason the wii is winning?Michael324

Good thing the vast majority of console buyers prefer local multiplayer over online. 

Considering it has zero online games...I'd have a very hard time crowning Wii the multiplayer king.Teufelhuhn

Online gaming isn't that popular yet. Good marketing bullet point, but not very significant in the big picture.

I thought it was plainly clear that the OP was talking about local multiplayer from the very beginning, since he singled out "sports games" but didn't mention RFOM or Gears or whatnot.

so far so good.

me and my roomies have gone through geow, graw, cod2, madden, burnout and even Uno. Those were fun for a lil bit.
6 months later and we are still getting excited when our friend come over to play wii sports tennis.

This is how it usually goes, 20 mins of guitar hero, 20 mins of cod 2, then like 2 hours of wii sports. 

Wii is the best. Don't even get me started on Red Steel (its like 19.99 now, its worth it for the 4player multi)
