Red Steel just had problematic controls. IMO it wouldn't be half as fun as it was without the Wiimote.

Yes, in Red Steel quick turns are not really possible, but that relates to the game design and not to the hardware which this discussion is about. BTW, you may prefer a gamepad but so what? This thread isn't about what YOU prefer. You simply can aim a lot faster with the Wii-mote then you ever could with a gamepad, anybody who denies this either doesn't know how the wii-mote works or is a wii-hater. I mean for example in Zelda, there could be 5 different enemies off in the distance, they're still very small and appear on different areas of the screen and with the Wii-mote you can pick all 5 of them off in like 5 seconds. Not even a diehard FPS fan could do that with a gamepad.

The Wii-motes motion-sensing might not always be super-accurate, but the aiming is pixel perfect. I would own your @ss in any FPS if I could play against you using my Wii-mote and you with a gamepad. I'll be like on the other side of map peering through a little window, heck it wouldn't even be just a normal head-shot, I'd shot in your mouth and save the replay.

Man are we back on this crap again. Before launch it was the Wii will be king of Fps. AFter launch it was crickets. Now someone is trying to bring back the dream. It seems to me that teh Wii is your imagination and people are actually forgetting what the WIi actually does. This is coming from someone who based his purchase on what he 360 could do and not what it might do down the line. Not what my imagination felt it could do. Its almost as bad as the cows and their megaflops, terraflops. Well at least Sony didnt lie about 2-3x the flops of what the 360 has.

you mean the sensitivity? that can be turn up or down with a controller.. beside if the same game was made to play online they wouldnt aloud the wii ver to skip frames moving the gun from down their feet up to their head.
