Wii music looks fun tbh

Why is everyone being so insecure about this game?

Ok the game that hasn't contain any blood, gore, violence, sex and other immature **** added marketed towards kids to satisfy their daily testosterone needs.

But it actually looks fun. There, I said it. I will purchase the game day 1.

There is no such thing as hardcore or casual gamer. You're either a gamer or you're not. End of story.

Wii sport Resorts looked like a real nice game. Just by looking at it, I was entertained. Nintendo really did put a smile on my face, like their marketing motto.

Am I seriously the only open-minded non-fanboy that actually thinks Wii music looks fun?

FUN alot of people seem forget what that means... fair play to you... but it aint on my list of games to buy

You say we're insecure and then you start talking about hardcore/casual gamers, then fanboys, and how you're open-minded and we're not.

I think it looks awful to be honest. Embarrassing really, and I try to avoid even thinking about it because it lowers my respect for Nintendo by a notch every time I do think about it.

I have a Wii and NOTHING looks fun about Wiimusic. Seriously, what about it looked fun to you? Was it how they mentioned there was no skill involved in playing it? That all you do is push the buttons and the game automatically plays the notes? It's pantomime. It would be like buying a Singstar type of game, but instead of singing, you just lipsync the shongs.

And when the WIi already gets guitar hero and rock band, why anyone over the age of 7 would want Wii music is beyond me.

Awww don't put the guy off buying it. He loves Nintendo and no matter what they roll out will be first in line to buy it.

Lets face it, who wouldn't want to get 3 mates round to your house so you can all stand in front of the TV flaining your arms around creating unco-ordinated, tinny and annoying 'music'.

I am as open minded as can be, and I don't think I am much of a fanboy, but in all seriousness. No. Wii Music looks like a weak version of Rock Band. Almost akin to playing Air Guitar along with your stereo.

All things considered, there are much better music/rhythm games on any current platform.

i like to think i have a wide taste when it comes to games but wii music looks VERY boring.

i like the idea. i remember seeing the komodo drum at e3 and thinking "ooo i want to play the prelude to war tune form battle star galactica on that". could be great crack.

but the implementation of it, at e3 at least, was very dodgy imho. there really going to have to tighten it up on the controls front before release before i consider it.

The only thing fun i can see out of it, is the freestyling of the drums. Other than that, indiscriminate waggle and button pressing to mimic song sounds really boring.Pangster007

I am pretty sure that the drums are just as pre-set as the other instruments. You pick a song, and the notes are set. You only conrol when those notes play, but pushing a button, and have moving high or low mixes up the sound.

You don't even need the actual game to play Wii Music.

All you have to do is plug in your N64, power up any Mario (or first party for that matter) game.
Then you take your Wiimote and dance around like and idiot doing random gestures while you listen to the game's soundtrack.


And there you have it! Wii Music!

I stand corrected. That part does look alright. UNfortunately, if the music selection for Wiimusic is anything like what they put into Donkey Konga, I doubt the free drumming will be much fun.

actully right now you're being quite the opposite of that.

wii music is garbage and an insult to any level of core gamer. anyone could tell you that. (the drums do look awesome though)
