It's not over yet. It's still out of stock at most places and will continue to be so for a good while.

Last week I bought one for my bro's B-day. My dad and I meet at toys-r-us on a sunday because we heard they were going to have 40 when they opened. We got there 30 min before the store opened (opens at 10:00AM) and there was a line. Toys-r-us was handing out tickets to get a wii and busing people in 2 at a time to buy them. When we got there at 9:30, 23 had already sold. We were #24.

Afterwards, we went next door to the craft store to get some paint for my mum and when we left, all the wiis were sold out PRIOR to toys-r-us opening! It's still pretty crazy.

I live in MD

Well, I find in Canada it's almost impossible to find a Wii. I went to Walmart and I saw three there. Came back half hour later, they were gone.

Best Buy didn't have any this week, when I asked. However the guy said a shipment was expected this week. I haven't called back for it, but I'm trying to find one for my cousin. So who knows... I still haven't seen them out in other places like EBs or anything..

good games wont do a thing.. it will still continue to sell at it's incredible pace..

99% of the systems being sold are for casuals and they don't care about the great games coming out..

I live in Tampa, and last time I was at Gamestop (picking up my PS3) the guy got a call asking if they had any Wiis. Some places it seems have alot of Wiis, while others are Wiiless.

I got lucky with getting mine in February, walked into Gamestop to pick up Supreme Commander, and in the Shipment Supreme Commander came in was two Wiis; thankfully the guy ahead of me picked up one of them, because I given up on finding one (so wasn't looking)

I was at my GameStop 2 days ago and there was 0 DS's, 1 Wii, around 5 PS3's, 8 or so 360's, and countless PSP's. That's what I remember.

Their easier to find than before, but they still sell out. They are usually gone by the end of that day. My local bestbuy had got a shipment of 20 Wii's, and within 2-3 hours they were gone. I know this because i friend wanted a Wii, and i told them they had some (because i was there), and by the time he went to pick it up (2-3 hours had passed), he got the last one.

I have yet to find a Wii just lounging around my local stores... but I'm not surprised there are places where they're in stock.

But... Nintendo had better pick up the pace now with the holidays and all.

They have them where I live in the middle of nowhere, but In the nearby capitol, they sold immediately, and you've still probably see line-ups for them in places like New York.

I have three coworkers who have all been looking for a Wi for weeks and still can't find one. Honestly why would anyone buy a Wii on Ebay for almost 400 dollars if they could go to any game store to get one?

Then buy them man! That's over 100 dollars in profit you will make for about10 minutes worth of work on ebay.

The other day I spotted about 50 in the Times Square Toys R' Us. I took a picture but I havent passed it to the computer. They were selling like pancakes though, I saw at least 4 persons buy one during the time I was there... I even saw a person taking two .
