Wii online will be robust. Friend codes barely used.

I have to give props to nintendo... online play for strikers seems pretty cool, intuitive, and free....

i was worried about online play, but this video has really impressed me... all we need is for third party titles to follow suit and we are good to go....

but in my opinion what they show is good enough.... i think the interface seems more intuitive that when you play doa4 on 360...

People who deny how good this is   looking are just fanboys. It almost  matches XBL to a T. The game to me looks   kinda lame but the online aspect is promising. Meaning that Im hoping the same type    will be  applied to other  Wii   games.

3. Friends Lists 

4.  Invites

5. Guest play

6. Seeing what you friends are doing online

7. Ranked and Unranked matches 

 8. And best of all losing points for Quiting matches. LOL.

This I hope is going to be the same for Smash Bros Brawl.

the point is that a lot of people (myself included) believed that wii online would be a completeely unintuitive, issue ridden, craptastic experience.

this video proves nintendo is taking online seriously 

If it didn't have friend codes and had a way to communicate during/offline gameplay, then it would be perfect.

But a great start, I will say.

Can you imagine if they upped Smash matches to 6 or 8 characters in Huge Levels? It might pull the view back a bit too much, but we shall see.

Except it's a fact that Nintendo said 100+ games in production right now are going to be gamer games, not even close to casual games. They're going to be there to satisfy the hardcore gamer aspects.

Very impressive. That is a lot more then I expected and I can't wait to pick up this game now. I was hoping Nintendo
was going to pull this off well and it seems they are. I didn't have a problem with the wait as people had to wait for
Xbox Live and I think it's clear that effort was being put into this. Didn't expect seasons, invites, top players of the day
and several other items they added. I think we most likely can expect the same for Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart.

The thing now is to hope 3rd party developers match what Nintendo is doing in terms of online options when they finally
bring out their online enabled games.

Not bad at all.

im even considering buying strikers charged just because the online seems very complete... the only reason why i wouldnt is that i got the original strikers and they seem fairly similar.

if third party games have online like this ill be getting a lot of games for the wii. we need brawl and a good shooter...
