No game is stupid and saying that a game is stupid is nothing but flame bait.....Everyone has their own opinion of a good game
true but i just think the mindless violence is stupidI care less about games like Grand Theft Auto and its ilk. I also do not care about the PS3 or Xbox 360, because most of their games do not appeal to my tastes.
I detest games with blood, gore, and scantly-clad females that so-called "hardcore" gamers fanatically hype and enjoy. I have always been a "causal" gamer (over 25 years) and will be.
IGN also said Twilight Princess was better then ocarina of time. Did you go out and buy a Wii(they said this before the GC version was out)?
Also, did you go buy a wii for SMG?
Better yet, did anyoen go out and buy a xbox after jade empire got a 9.9?
Anyways, GTA is such a big game that most people on this forum know what it is about. If they are currently planning on getting a system for this game, it's likely they had already been planning that before the review. Though i suppose there is the odd person that might have changed their mind.
I have a 360 already, but i'll probably buy it. I didn't like 3 or san andreas though :O

There's a good storyline, and supposedly great multiplayer.
It's really funny when people bash Nintendo for being casual but still want this game which is from one of the most casual franchises ever.taker42
This is one thing I don't get. How is it casual? Is a casual gamer going to be able to pick it up and actually spend the time to beat it? (Or even have the skill to beat it) Last time I checked casual gamers don't play 25+ hour long games.
It isn't casual. It may have casual appeal due to how big of a name the franchise is, but seriously.
It's the same thing with people calling Halo casual. Can you honestly tell me a casual player is going to be able to compete online?

GTA is casual. You don't have to beat it. There are so many ways you can play it, it pretty much appeals to a large audiance.

I already said it had casual appeal. But is it really casual?
You can make pretty much any type of game into a casual experience, but does that make it casual?

blahzor
different reviewer, matts a bit nuts..
i already have a ps3.. but gta4 wasnt the reason why i bought mine. I still fail to see what's so good. I've played all gta series btw. Finished the rest of san andreas like 2 weeks back.
I have to admit though, it works in taking stress out. I'll probably watch my friend play it when he gets it. Hopefully i will see something different from the others.
