wii or 3ds?

hey not sure whether this is in the right place, but i'm considering getting a wii or a 3ds,
i like alot of the games on wii, and can get older games like oot and majora's mask downloadable on it, but then again the 3ds is brand new and oot handheld sounds really good,

what would you say would be the best option?

p.s. i forgot to mention i didn't have a ds,

Do you already have another console? Would you rather have a new handheld or a new home console?

Those are the only two questions you need to answer really. I can't tell you which one will be better for you.

Do you have friends/brothers/sisters to play with?
Even then... You don't have a DS...

I think 3DS is the better choice...
You're looking at more years of support... both from DS games as in the future.
Definitely look at the recommended DS and Wii games and compare them.

Honestly, if I was in your situation, i would buy a 3DS and get the Wii's Successor when it releases since it will no doubt be backwards compatible with Wii games anyways.
