Wii outselling PS3 in the US

Sept 2006:

Cows - "Bu, bu the Playstation brand will attract customers and outsell the Wii despite the $600 price tag!!1!1! Customers know they're getting their money's worth" :lol:

Riiiighhht...tell that to the folks over at Amazon. Wii is out of stock and in the top 10 sellers, while PS3 is IN STOCK and generating little interest. Next weeks NPD numbes will once again prove Wii is outselling PS3 here and in Japan. Most likely in Europe too.

And what does that have to do with the quality of the current games available on each system? Last time I checked, there was an equal amount of AAAs and more AAs on the Playstation 3.

Unless you want to say it mean more potential for better games. Which is funny, because everyone bashes Playstation 3 fans for saying that the hardware architecture of the Playstation 3 may provide the potential for better games. Gotta love the hypocrisy around here.

This is kinda off topic, but a couple of weeks ago I was on the japanese amazon (don't ask) and the top two games were gears of war and a pre-order for grand theft auto san andreas.jack_russel

And the last time I checked, a PC game beat out everyone's precious Halo 2 for GOTY in 2004. PC has more A, AA, and AAA titles than any other system out there. Not to mention that if I wait long enough, I'll be playing most of those Xbox games...

I could bring my PS2 into the fight as well. You know , the PS2 , that console that sold 110 million plus as opposed to Gamecubes 5 consoles sold. You know what I'm talking about. The PS2 , the console that got released after the PS1 which also sold 100 million plus and crushed the N64 as well. Yeah , you sheep know what i'm talking about.

I find it funny because all that the sheep are doing , and lemmings for that matter , is trying to use current numbers at the begining of this console war , knowing that the quote on quote war has only begun , to redeem the whooping they recieved last gen and pre-last gen. Even if Nintendo or MS does win , they still have a lot to go and a whole lot to do to get to where the playstation is/and or was. The Playstation is still the one to beat. Its been said before I know , but its the truth.
