Wii perhaps the best console... or is it?

The Wii, from what i've seen looks like the greatest choice for a console. Ninetnedo from the DS and Wii, seem to be the most inventive, finding new ways to play games. Would you agree, or would you still say that a PS3 and an xbox 360 are still better. I know that a PC would be the absolute top gaming machiene but I have no money to afford that.

Christmas is coming, please, biased or not, put your opinions down so I can find the right console to buy. Perhaps consider, the hardware and game lineups for the console. Thankyou, it's just that im a newb when it comes to the sixth generation consoles.

If you think that PC is the ultimate gaming machine then wouldnt you prefer the other consoles? They are the most like PCs.

Personaly, i m not a huge fan of the Wii, it s a mediocre system that s good for playing short bursts, like at a friend's house or something. But as a personal system... not gonna happen unless i have a PS3/360 to accompany it.Setsa

The Wii is seriously far from the best. I can't see how a console with last-gen standards and games with low production value can be the best.

Personaly, i m not a huge fan of the Wii, it s a mediocre system that s good for playing short bursts, like at a friend's house or something. But as a personal system... not gonna happen unless i have a PS3/360 to accompany it.Setsa

I dont consider it for "short bursts" The first time i payed Twilight Princess was for 6 straight hours, MP3 for 4 straight hours and recently i've been playing a lot of Trauma Center.

best gaming platform in my opinion is the PC,
