Wii Really Is a Big Gimmick

I never really thought it was that big of a Gimmick until my Brother Got it...

Okay... My younger brother just got a Wii and I was trying it out becuase he could not figure out how to work it... I hate the thing... You can't sit anywhere you have to be back and directly infront of it for it to track your controller...

And also non of the Wii sports games are anyfun... You seem to spend more time figureing out how to hold it to make the thing know what your doing... I tried out golfing becuase I went Golfing Yesterday and It was nothing like Golf... It felt so weird becuase you had to sing slow and it was just not fun.... I did not mind having to stand to play, but the controls are just plain sloppy...

I also noticed in the Dashboard type thing that if you moved it to fast it would loss track of you controller and the little finger would dissapper...

Over all Wii Sports stinks and I think they need to work on a better motion detecter... I'm not giving it my final judgement yet, but It better get somthing worth putting up with the lame controller fast... But, As of right now I think the 360 and PS3 are much Better...

If it weren't for the fact that this thread is so rediculous he had to post it twice jsut to get veiwers, I would say that was a stupid comment.

Actually not true. I sit at an angle all the time and it works fine.

You seem to spend more time figureing out how to hold it to make the thing know what your doing...

It tells you in one or two panels worth of information as you're playing the game. Even when you make a mistake it tells you what you're doing wrong.

I tried out golfing becuase I went Golfing Yesterday and It was nothing like Golf... It felt so weird becuase you had to sing slow and it was just not fun....

Well duh, in golf you have to swing with all of your might to hit the ball far. Doing that indoors would be dangerous.

My other one was Made One Hour ago and everyone was calling me a fake boy and said I did not have a Wii... So I said to let that one die and In an Hour or So I would make another one with a Picture of the POS... But, Some how I did not notice that It did not Die and I made this topic...

What I want to knowmost of all is not why you have 2 accounts, it's where your sensor bar was... You complain about stuff most wii owners have never really encountered such as Different angles causing problemsand Hand will disapear occasionally.

Now I used ot have these problems until I foudnthe problem out, your sensor bar needs to stick out a bit. If you push it back on a shelf or somethin ,espessally an above the tv one, you'll get lots of problems like that as the remote won't make contact with the sensor half the time.

I can Drive Down a Few Blocks and Pay 11 Bucks for 9 Holes and Play for 2 and a Half Hours or I could Pay 250 Bucks and then another 20-50 for games that I can't see my Self playing for more then 10 Minutes at a Time... There Just Party game which you take turns playing when you have 20 people over... Which don't get me wrong there still fun, but its better when its someone elses...

There Just Party game which you take turns playing when you have 20 people over... Which don't get me wrong there still fun, but its better when its someone elses...

Wii sports is about as much a simulation of those sports as guitar hero is a simulation to playing guitar...

It takes 2 and a Half to 3 Hours For Most People(With Golf Carts)... So Its a Pritty Good Deal...

Its a Pritty Nice Course, but Its in a Really Bad Spot... The Fourth hole Is About 20 Feet From the road the whole way through it... I got my Ball Across the Street with out taking out some guys Hood... it was pritty Close though...
