I can't stop playing it even 5 months after release. Wii Tennis and Wii Bowling are my favs. What are your favorite Wii games?

It seems that people in this thread are bad at Wii sports math. :P
It goes:
Tennis=Bowling > Golf > Boxing > Baseball.
I left Bowling out my first time :shock:.

I know I rated Bowling pretty low, but that's because I suck at it... *mumbles* stupid ball, always curving to the right......

Try turning the Wii remote while you bowl. Like, you must have it tilted one way, tilt it to the other.Or just use your other hand to bowl. It'll curve differently.

Once during the curving training, I got to level 16... hasn't worked before or since. It was rather spooky.

I would rather play Virtua Tennis 3. It is a much deeper tennis experience. Wii Tennis is not even as deep as Pong. In Pong, you have to move the bar. In Wii tennis, you don't move the avatar, you just swing a racket.
[QUOTE="DireToad"]WoW is addicting.

There is a difference.Tylendal
You don't get it. TC is trying to be sarcastic (and failing).
I think it is addicting. I still play it. And for me it was Bowling, Baseball, and Golf. (cant get the hang of tennis)
Wii Tennis.
Btw this should be in the Wii forums, not System Wars...
Toaster_Cell
That's ok, I made it a system wars thread. Read my post above.

The timing of your swing determines where the ball will move though... in some amateur cases, you will not last long with others cause your ball may likely swing out more often then you getting your opponent to second bounce. Tennis has some depth. If you swing early it curves to the left or right (depending on your hand) and if you swing to late it will move the same. The middle will mostly shoot it straight forward.[QUOTE="Berserker_2"][QUOTE="AvIdGaMeR444"]I can't stop playing it even 5 months after release. You are also supposed to hit the ball at the proper height. (I have played Tennis at a near professional level.) I don't doubt Wii Tennis is fun, but it's hard to believe that it would last 5 months on a regular basis.

Berserker_2Oh, I know about some tennis too. I've played some before in High School. :P
I do agree with you though, but it's not entirely bad. It's quite enjoyable just if you have some friends over. The main SP mode is fun for like a week or two, but it's got replay value with friends, especially those who don't own a Wii yet, it's the perfect introduction tool to get them used to it. I prefer to show off bowling more though. I think it's a lot better than tennis. :P(On Wii, not actual)

Not at all.
WoW is awesome. So awesome that I have to tell myself not to buy BC and start playing again.
And while Wii Sports is fun, it's really not addicting.

I don't doubt that Virtua Tennis 3 is a deeper tennis experience than Wii Sports Tennis. On the other hand, you should scale back the hyperbole. Wii Tennis is both deeper and more accessible than Pong, which makes it an outstanding video game for the mass market.
wii tennis is a demo showing the potenital of the system
timing your swings, how your swing.. they factor
and if youve played monkey squash... basically tennis where you control where you move .. you know that the wii has the potenital to do a tennis game just as good as any other
anyways, tennis has gotten a little too slow now.. even bowling
me and my gf regularly box though.. she's really into it and it's her primary way for working out at home next to aerobic video
bowlings definately the family favorite though... when my mom continuously kicks my familys ass, you know they've done something right in appealing to a wider demographic (perhaps I could beat her if I didn't spend all my time working on my spin)
