ON TOPIC: good score, i'm sure if you can really call it a tech demo since its really a fully featured sequel with a lot of new modes, sports, etc.

true it might not actually considered thatmeh, I think thats a bit too highI dont think it earned that. But I dont think it deserved gamespost score either, I think that IGN's review of it is prob the most accurate with its score.
uh it isnt reviewed on gamespot yetmeh, I think thats a bit too highI dont think it earned that. But I dont think it deserved gamespost score either, I think that IGN's review of it is prob the most accurate with its score.

oh no problem then.Funny how Nintendo games aren't held to the same standard as 360/PS3 games. Can anyone honestly say if Wii Sports Resort was released on either PS3 or 360 it would have gotten an A rating?

[QUOTE="CajunShooter"]I don't think your argument can be proven Yea it could. Ask a journalist if this game was on a PS3 or 360 would you have rated it the same. The guys over at IGN Wii channel already state this all the time. They have to rate the games differently on the Wii. They can't try to compare Wii games to that of 360/PS3 games.Funny how Nintendo games aren't held to the same standard as 360/PS3 games. That mentality is pretty bad. Apart from graphics, it would have the same standard (Assuming there are motion controls of course).Funny how Nintendo games aren't held to the same standard as 360/PS3 games. Listen Nintendo Voice Chat. I listen to it weekly and they have brought it up several times on the podcast

you're missing the entire point of the franchise. its to show off the motion controller.
and i'm sure it could get at least 7's on other consoles.
the first one was a solid, fun title that has really changed the face of gaming, albeit while being free of charge (for most)

Why would it not? If the PS3 and 360 had motion controls. Because fun addicting party mini games are the norm on the Wii, not on the PS3/360. doesnt mean it cant work and be fun on other systems though. In fact it would probably work out even better on other systems in that case and be considered a breath of fresh air from all the shooters and RPG's[QUOTE="HarlockJC"][QUOTE="CajunShooter"]Why would it not? If the PS3 and 360 had motion controls. Because fun addicting party mini games are the norm on the Wii, not on the PS3/360. How would that change the score of what the game got? If anything that means there is more games to compare it to on X system and makes the fact the game got an A even better. Also there is nothing wrong with mini-game collections they are on all systems and have been for many years.Funny how Nintendo games aren't held to the same standard as 360/PS3 games. Who honestly cares about this?
krp008
People who enjoy playing sports games with motion control and have a Wii? ;) I'm sure it's a long list of people, though not on SW.
Go figure the sequel to the game 90% of Wii owners never took out of ther console ends up being good. I think I may have a reason to finally remove Wii sports from the Wii, and actually plug it back in.
