[QUOTE="macmutt"][QUOTE="manningbowl135"][QUOTE="macmutt"][QUOTE="EdVader"]When the hell did comparing a 3rd person game where you collect coins become anywhere comparable to that of Halo 3? Until we get our Italian plumber game equivalent toMario, who alsocan't handle keeping his girlfriend safe, don't compare completely different genres. And for the last time, sales don't mean a thing! Its only more affordable and that's been the only reason it outsells everything in the first place. Actually, keep it up... its funny reading ranting threads like these.
Carry on...

After the purchase of a
Wii and the 2gig sd card and a game -$249.99 - $19.99 - $49.99 after taxes about $338.00
Xbox 360 arcade system with a game - $279.99 - $59.99 after taxes about $344.00
Hardly a huge difference in cost, so c'mon don't try and use the low cost of the system as an excuse.
Answer me this if it is just the low cost, and the Wii is not as good as you think then why don't you see a used Wii systems in any gamestop or eb-games ?, i have personally checked across the metro area in New York and they had plenty of used 360's and PS3's but no one gets rid of their Wii's...explain that...if you can.
Did you check craigslist? Craigslist NY has plenty of people selling their wii.
Yeah i just went to check craigslist upon your request and did you bother to read the ads, because just like the people posting them on ebay their all selling new Wii's for a huge profit to take advantage of the lack of availability in the stores.
Out of like 50 Wii ads on Craigslist, i think their might have been one that was actually opened and used, the rest were brand new and not being sold by people who loved the Wii who would normally refuse to part with it, on the front page i also saw a guy willing to swap his 360 for a Wii if he couldn't sell it...so try again dude
Wii with extras (says used inside)
Another one
another one
And wii for trade...wants 360
didn't like it and selling it
I stopped at 5. Took me about 5 minutes.
not being sold by people who loved the Wii who would normally refuse to part with it
This makes no sense. Why would they sell it if they love their wii?
Ok let's get this out of the way right now, for every 5 you find on ebay or craigslist their are game stores across the country that have 20 to 50 used 360's and PS3's in their stores and if you called them all and asked for a Wii, you'll hear the same answer over and over "sorry no used systems and were sold out of new Wii's keep checking back for our next shipment".
However not only do the game stores have plenty of 360's and PS3's but so do all the wal-marts, circuit city's, and best buys, so please give it up already because if the sales were this great for either one of the other consoles you would be using those figures to state your arguement as facts for it being the best console just like Wii are.
