Speaking as a Canadian...to be perfectly fair to the PS3, our shortage lastest far longer than the US. Even when Americans and Penny-Arcadewere laughing at the Sony wager that they'd pay money to anyone who found a PS3, we still had massive shortages.
Plus, despite our dollar being almost equal to the US dollar recently...we still had the PS3 listed for $699 until the recent price drop (now $550).
Huh, while its still too early to definatively call it, I'd say this 'war' is turning into an all out rout. Nintendo just needs to keep up this momentum and they're golden.
GBA = PS3-killer? Still?! I hope those gamesSony released the other day turns that around, its no fun beating a dead horse...
They are buyinga ton of Wii games also

Stop with these stupid comparisons. You cannot compare the Wii to the PS3/360.
I explain why in my thread, so go there if you wish to discuss, as I won't repost it all again.

Honestly, there are quite a few Wiis at my local Superstore, but there are also a bunch of 360s and PS3s, mainly because I live in the middle of nowhere, the nearby provincial capital leaching away all the consumers.

Well, they're all consoles, and they're being carried by all the same retailers, so yeah, they WILL all be compared to one another. Now go back down into the basement and eat some more Cheetos, fanboy.

Go to my thread and you will see my point. I am far from a fanboy. Civics and Ferraris are cars--and I don't see anyone foolish enough to compare their sales. Again--all of this and the graphic bashing threads are discussed in my thread. Check it out.
