sorry if old but I havnt heard any confirmed pricing for the wii U but just saw this on the EB Games (australia) website, they have the wii U listed at $598 (australian dollars) is this a place holder????????????

I'm pretty sure there was another rumor/leak I saw that showed the Wii U price being $350.

For us, US$350 sounds good for a brand new console.

Why is microsoft trying to appeal to nothing but casuals when the hardcore gamers who bought xbox in 2001 and bought their games are the reason xbox360 exist today.

They sold out on the people who helped get them where they are today.

Nintendo won't finalize the pricing until they get a better sense of how interested consumers are, which will be after E3.
