I doubt it, from what I saw.. I think they're gonna succeed perfectly fine, grab a bit of core 'til the nexbox/ps4 then go back to being the wii, yet again being the inferior, and cheap console. And maybe the U will be able to get ports from the the others next gen, so what they grab in core, they may keep.
As long as they can keep the casuals, they'll win, 'least in sales 'n such :)
Dreamcast all over again? Nintendo going the same route as SEGA did with their console back in '99? Wii U controller remind you of the dreamcast vmu that slid into the controllers expansion slot and could be used like a mini handheld to play games?

I heard you could basically rent a game, burn and play it without any real troubles...Dreamcast all over again? Nintendo going the same route as SEGA did with their console back in '99? Inconsistancy
I go back and forth on the Wii U. On one hand I like the idea of the touch screen built into the controller. On the other hand the touch screen is WAY too big and if Tablet proces are any indication on how much these controllers will cost then be prepared to drop $300 on each additional controller.
Plus when people play games what part is it that takes a beating? The controller. I'll be worried about breaking it.
