This is a problem for many with a Nintendo console. They refuse to look at anything besides a first party game. Try something new, you'll find that some third party games are out now and are fine, and SSX Blur and Sonic are coming as well.solidsnakeEx3That's good advice. But I ask- what's wrong with Cookin' Mama?! I would love that game!!
I just got my wii last week so I'm still playing Twilight Princess. Looking at the release dates though, there is nothing I want for a long long time to come. I thought Nintendo was going to stop these droughts? I see nothing but garbage coming out until fall or TBA.SonyHaterReggie was talking out of his *** when he said there would be no gaming droughts for the Wii. EVERY console has gaming droughts. You can't hav an Oblivion scaled game come out every friggen month.
What do I call garbage? Pretty much every Wii game since Twilight Princess. Some are average but nothing great or even good.
Wii sports is ok

I look at all games. The 360 has plenty of garbage on it as well. I'm no fanboy and I've been gaming for 20 years so don't try your "superior knowledge" bs on me. I know good software when I see it. SonyHater

In case you didn't notice all the consoles have a drought until May. The lemmings only have Lost Planet and Crackflop so far. The cows are only getting VF5. The Wii has SSX Blur and Sonic: Secret Rings.Almost, Super Paper Mario in April. The drought ends on May for all systems, though. Don't try to claim otherwise.TNT_Slug
Almost, Super Paper Mario in April. Damn, I meant March. The drought ends on March. My bad. The Wii also gets Metroid Prime 3 on April :)[QUOTE="TNT_Slug"] In case you didn't notice all the consoles have a drought until May. The lemmings only have Lost Planet and Crackflop so far. Trauma Center is good. So is Elebits. :?

Happy Birthday! :P
But, in a way, the Wii doesn't have droughts because of the Virtual Console.... it doesn't probably count, but there are good games on the VC. :P

^^^ Again another WIi fanboy blinded by false hype^^^
Should I have to give you the scores of the lastest Mario Party games and Sonic games? Mario party has scored in the 2's on ign and gamespot. OUCH! Sonic? I haven't seen a good one since the dreamcast.
I deal with truth and not false hopes.

I agree with you on all counts. Except you should check out Truama Center, it is strangley rewarding to preform open heart surgery with the Wiimote. I am not saying it is AAA or anything, but it held my attention longer then any other Wii game besides TP of Course.
I'm not saying the WIi is an impulse buy. I know there will be software later on down the road that I will buy. The problem is, is it going to be 3 titles a year like the N64 or 10 titles a year? Nintendo fanboys are often blinded by hype and buy whatever "sounds cool." I was like that when I was a younger person and often followed fads. I often found that I wasted my money and felt dissapointed.3 titles a year? unlike the previous gens, the Wii is getting more developer support since launch not less. but of course since they jumped on board late the first batch are mostly junk.
My advice and dont' listen to anyone else and go with the games you want. Don't buy whats popular or what other people seem to like. Oh and Rent if possible.

CRackflop? I actually played the Demo and LIKED THE GAME. Could you say you've played it? I serously doubt it. It scored in the 8 range or even 9 range in most reviews. I'll enjoy it.SonyHaterIf you disagree with GS scores, that's your own business. But they did flop Crackdown, that's what counts in SW.
Aren't Previews "always positive" They always give false hopes. I hope you are right, I would love to see a quality sonic game again.SonyHater
Did I say that? Nope but I don't buy garbage either.SonyHater
Well, every new console has a drought, and Wii is no exception.
However, the dought isn't that big. SSX Blur and Sonic both come out this month, and even though March looks kind of dull for Wii April has Super Paper Mario and most likely Pokemon Battle Revolution

Looks like you should have done your homework and not gotten a Wii for yourself. Smart move.
Nintendo could atleast release some "smart games" say like- SUper Punchout,(even a new one for wii) Zelda: OoT, etc etc. The greatest hits so to speak. It's not rocket science.SonyHaterThey just released Kid Icarus. How could you possibly complain about that?!
