OK so I've had my Wii for about a year now, and I love it, the ninty games are great fun. The problem is, online is really what I love to do, and for the Wii it is veery limited, so I'm thinking of buying a 360 and getting live. Now I have to decide if I should sell my Wii (who here has both systems and actually plays the wii a lot?), or what I should do.

My thinking is that games like The Conduit, etc. for Wii that excited me before, would just be mediocre for the 360. I don't want to sell my Wii (my parents would kill me too, the only reason I'm getting the 360 is that I'm getting it free). So again, who actually spends time on both systems?

I dont own both so i cant give you your answer. But i have a 360 and do spend alot of time w/ it. And nearly all of that is online in mostly either tf2 of Halo 3.

I have both, and I play my Wii about 1 hour a month. It doesn't not compare to the fun or online of the 360, I am thinking about giving it away.

I own all three systems, and I'll point out that sometimes, it will feel like you're not playing one of the consoles you own if you have more than one. They go through phases. For a lot of last year, I was wondering about my Wii and PS3, as the 360 got so much game time. But this year the Wii's been my most active console, and I still have like 5 more games to buy for it that came out in the last few months. Plus with both you get a great cross section of MS's good exclusives, the multiplats, and Nintendo's awesome titles.

Yeah the PS3 was another option, but the online is not near as good I heard. Also most of my friends have Live, but I'm still thinking.

And I know how much fun it is, I go over to friends houses for Halo 3 on live for hours on end, that's why I don't think i could pass it up. But which system has the longest to go? Like, which one would last longest with better games coming

Yeah I'm leaning towards keeping the Wii and just selling all games i don't play. The only thing I have to do now is convince my parents to let me

I own a 360 and only play halo 3 on it right now. My wii gets alot more play because

A) better games

B) more variety

360 its just shooter shooter violent game violent game.

I own all three. I love Nintendo first party games and would never not own a Nintendo system. Can not say the same for the other two. But don't get me wrong it great owning a 360. DDR is much better on my 360 than my Wii.

I have both systems, but I play more on my PC, the only time I really play my Wii is when my daughter wants to play SSBB or something with me, I play my 360 ALOT more than I play the Wii.

9/10 of my time is spent on the 360
1/10 on the Wii

Aside from a few standout games, nothing on the Wii interests me.

I have both Wii and 360. I spend around 95% of my time with the Wii. The only time ive played on my xbox 360 in the past 9ish months was to play gta4.

Really not true. The Xbox 360 probably has the most variety of any system.

I split the majority of my playtime between my 360 and PC, but I tend to prefer western-oriented games (ie FPS, RTS, WRPGs and sports titles). That said the Wii and 360 are pretty complementary, so it's not like your 360 will "trump" your Wii the same way a gaming rig will overlap with a 360.

Dont sell your Wii. I owned all three and I sold my Wii and I regret it.

If you're going to get a 360, just save for it man, you'll regret it.

i have both and ill tell ya......the xbox gets alot more use for that same reason your talking about.......LIVE......i just got brawl a few days ago,i unlocked ganon, snake, luigi, falco, ike and cap.falcon....and then stopped playing cold turkey because....its just too much of the same thing.....gets real boring real fast.....i can only play so much of clasic mode so many times before you are like...wow this sux.....and i got past more than half past the subspace emmisary because i wasnted a easy wolf unlock but u had to beat the game so i was like forget that...and when you feel a sense of accomplishment by unlocking rare chars,to play online.......you play, you MIGHT win,and thats it...theres no chat......no leader boards,no nothing.....its utter garbage.

Now im in a GB CoD4 clan and im having way more fun and even thos the game might be considered old........its no boring at all......specially when u pull a 4v1 and ur heart is pumpin.

But id say get a ps3...i wish i had one specially with MGS4 coming out......with ingame XMB coming soon i really dont see the diff. between it and live......online i never had any problem with any game.(resistance to date is still the best made online game i played,i mean performance wise)

I have both but I don't play my Wii much because I have too many games for the 360 I'm enjoying. Don't know if that helps

It depends on your taste. I never play the 360, I haven't touched it since Apil. But then again, my Wii barely gets any play time as well >_> But more than my 360.

I bought in to the "You can't be Wii-only" hype, and was disappointed, hopefully when the multiplats worth mentioning worth mentioning come out, I'll be convinced.

They compliment each other perfectly. I own both and am very happy and content, those two consoles are all one needs this gen in the console department. Add a DS and you've got more games than you can play.

Keep both systems. You'll regret it the next time a game like Galaxy, or Brawl comes out. It's always best to have as many game systems as possible. That way you can play the cream of the crop from all systems. I remember buying really mediocre games back when all I had was a gamecube. If you sell your Wii you'll wind up doing the same thing once you run out of 360 games to play (although that's kinda hard to do).

I have all 3 systems. After playing the 360, and to a lesser extent the PS3, My Wii pretty much bores me. I own SSBB, Mario Kart, Metriod Prime 3, & Zelda TP... So basically all of the very best Wii games, and I'll play an Xbox Live Arcade game (Carcasonne) before I'll bother to turn the Wii on, which will be to play a quick round of Wii sports.

I'd recommend you to get a Ps3 instead, if you like Online that much how about having it for free, in game xmb, custom soundtracks etc... The coolest 360 games are also on Ps3. I strongly advice you to consider the Ps3, Im loving mine.

So again, who actually spends time on both systems?

bball_freak_2

Well, I'm a PSWii60 guy and I can say I play only about 4 major games for Wii a year. Once you go Next Gen/HD, it's HARD to go back.

I do go back for the great Wii games though, although there aren't enough to keep me playin'.

It depends on how much time you have. I went the sell the wii and get the 360 route. I just got it a couple of months ago and set up live this month for the free month I have. WHen my month ends I'm not going to renew b/c I play too much live and havent gone through the single player portion of any of the games I have. So if you can handle the desire to play alot of live and still play your wii, than keep both. I dont have time to play just both portions of the 360

darkspineslayer

this :D

fact is you would find good games on both systems but like the most games they are get boring after you finished them,so its better you can choose from different platforms and pick out only the top ones ;)
