Do you guys believe as I do that the 35 million+ DS owners are more likely to buy a Wii than the 15 million + psp owners are to buy a PS3?
If so, then what would stop the Wii from catching fire like the DS has? Its been roughly more than 2 years and 35 million sales is alot. Not to mention the 80 million of the GBA. Alot of people like to say since the PS2 sold so much then the PS3 will sell as much. Alot of people also say the Wii resembles in games and other stuff the PS2. So why wouldn't people opt for the Wii which has alot in common with the PS2 (I know a fanboy will make a graphics joke about that) and since when has the console with the best hardware outsold the rest? The PS2 wasn't the best graphics or hardware wise. The dreamcast was ahead of its time in certain areas and look where that ended up! The 3DO couldn't even begin to compete with the SNES and Genesis. The original Gameboy continued to outsell the Game Gear and other handhelds forever though it appeared outdated to many. That being said, if the PS3 is the best hardware wise is this good company to keep? The dreamcast, 3DO, and Game Gear?
What would you non-nintendo people (who don't have souls since nintendo gave gaming its SOUL) do or think if the Wii caught fire as did the DS? How would you cope with that? People are saying the same things about the Wii they did about the DS and look where that got them.
