I guess that's what you get for using a video game to decide if your a fatty or not.
Thoughts?

First off, the game is not aimed at kids, second off, It doesn't say "for fattys" on the cover does it?
Your assumption couldn't be further from the truth.
Eh, hard to comment on really. It sucks little kids might get upset about this, but at the same time it's just a game. You cant tell a kid that though.
This isnt isnt particularly aimed at kids, but it's not just aimed at adults either.
maybe, JUST maybe they are actualy overweight?
or maybe i'm just a moron with no idea what i'm saying
Yep, it's true, nintendo hates fatties!
That's why they re-rated it F for FATTIES!
Next is going to be wii-makeover

So your saying it was designed for adults? Nope, sorry, can't buy into that. Methinks it was designed for the whole family to use.

Yeah, not just kids, everyone. Exactly my point.
The real question is why this guy thinks it's wrongly accusing kids of being fastty-mc-fat-fat-obese-fatties!

Americans are just way too sensitive! It's the games job to tell you if you're over-weight!
If you weigh 300+ pounds and it tells you "Looking sharp skinny!" then it's not doing it's job!
Isn't having 40 Kg (84 Pounds) at age 10 a bit too much? I seriously don't know, but it looks like it to me... So I don't see any problem lolT3H_1337_N1NJ4
Well I'm 25 and weigh 135lbs so yea that 10 yr ol is a fat azz. /sarcasm
I don't see any problem either. In all honesty I posted this, because kids parent's really irk me nowadays. All they do is whine and moan about video games messing up their kids head's and stuff.

what you did was incredibly redundant though especially since you quoted him.Americans are just way too sensitive! It's the games job to tell you if you're over-weight!

actually this one example was from the U.K. If it had been in the U.S. we would probably see an article about some 200 lb 10 year old getting told they are fat.

kk my bad... still though
I'm not even on the bmi scale cause I'm too skinny :cry:Doesn't Wii fit use the BMI?
No wonder it's grossely incurate. The BMI is a load of crap

That's exactly what I'm saying. Like I said, the whole family can play it, that doesn't mean WiiFit was designed with the kids in mind.

Well it has alot to do with height aswell, also fat is less dense and lighter than muscle, I'm 5'10 and about 190lb. In high school a freind of mine was about 100 kg (230lb) however he was in no way fat (he was 6' 2). I was around 50 kg ( 115lb ) when I was 13 but again this was due mostly to height (i was very sporty aswell) as I did most of my growing early (I only grew about 6 cm since i was 13). If your wondering how I remember all this It's just one of those things, I remember the most random unusefull things heh.

Well a game like Brain Training isn't really supposed to be used by kids. Though it says E for everyone the lowest brain age you can get is 20...

Wiifit determines if you are overweight using thee BMI, Body Mass Index. Its not wiifit itself that says ur overweight, its a certified formula. But the BMI is not much of an indicator and shouldnt be taken so literally. Muscle is heavier then fat. A fit muscled man would be categorized as overwieght
*sigh* BMI is such a good method of weight levels isn't it :roll:samusarmadaI came into this thread hoping someone would say this right away so I wouldn't have to. Unfortunately you're the first and you're about 20 posts down the list. I don't think people get it. Well, that, and they just don't care enough to argue the facts.
