Of course they did. Target put their latest shipment of Wiis on the shelves this past Sunday. Also, question for TC, did you just see boxes or did you ask if there are actual systems there for sale? Because all my local GS & EB have 4-5 Wii boxes out on display, but no actual systems for sale.
Wow, you're lucky or lying. I wish I could find more Wii's where I live, I could probably make a decent profit selling them. PS3 is lying around, but not as badly as people say. Of course, Penny-Arcade's monday comic laid down some heavy ownage on PS3 availability so I guess it's kind of self-explained.
i still don't think the wii is that available around here or else my brother would've called me and told me he got it he's been looking ever since he played mine
whats funny though is i crapped all over his new toy.. he got a system that plays old NES games and has some built onto it... but it doesnt load the cartridges .. he paid like 40$ even though he originally wanted a wii his wife was probably complaining about how much an extra controller and games cost(jews... no offense, im frugal myself) when he saw my stack of games though hes like wtf are you talking about, we can just play his games now hes all upset because... he wants a wii rather than his nintendo emulator... his nintendo emulator is junk and doesnt play carts... and he cant find a wii anywhere... even though i had TWO(i had to sell one on ebay... i wouldve sold it to him but i needed to make some money back since it was shipped here)
i think he secretly hates me... hes 31 yrs old with a daughter he doesnt seem to be crazy about party games though... he hasnt owned a console all Last gen.. before it he had an n64.. and the gen before that he skipped also... but he does own a decent rig and beat hl2... he mainly wants it for zelda/metroid though... the older people are too weirded out by wario to appreciate how great it is.. its for "the kids" since they say its for people with ADD
i tried to tell him "BUT GAMESPOT.COM SCORED WARIO .4 HIGHER THAN ZELDA" but in real life.. this holds no merit... actually i didnt say this, but if you pretend like you're really saying it to somebody who isn't a nerd.. it really shows the context of this crazy place

Circuit city had 0 Wii's and 0 PS3's when I was there today, they did have an 6x8x3 foot stack of 360's sitting around though. Target had like 8-10 PS3's and 1 Wii which was bought while I was looking at DVD players.

his wife is jewish... she talked him out of buying a wii because of all the "additional" costs ... you know... games despite the system coming with one and his brother also owning them... controllers... which come with a game for 10$ extra.... if you had a nagging jewish wife, the last game you'd probably beat would be hl2 also...
