Actually, it is. There are infact 5 seperate channels to Pro Logic 2, the back speakers are just emulations. And it sounds great to me so.... Dolby Digital > Pro Logic pro logic 2 is so last gen :lol:
Who cares? Most games I don't even listen to the game. I throw on a CD or stream MP3's to the stereo. How many birds and airplanes flying over do I have to listen to in Tiger Woods Wii (best golf game ever). I'd say except for a few games the sounds/voices aren't crucial so I'll take my punk and hardcore instead.Â

This is may be true, but it still sounds great. And PL2 is only a year older then Digital (PL2 came out in '96 and DD in '97)

The Wii suports 5.1.4
.4 = speakers in the Wiimotes! First eva to do that! 7.1 = last gen 5.1.4 = teh futur!
It's really sad when gaming requires you to purchase HDTV, plus surround sounds, and other expensive electronics just to ge tthe full experience of the console.

This is may be true, but it still sounds great. And PL2 is only a year older then Digital (PL2 came out in '96 and DD in '97) xbox has better sound than Wii :lol:
i would happily trade wii pro logic 2 for simple stereo sound and some decent graphics hardware.... the visual guano of the wii hurts me much more than its audio
