I've heard the similar things for the ps3. But EBgames or someother more gaming focused company owned by Best Buy dudes will have the actual retail price. The higher price is there to attract non-gamers since they'll think pricier equals better equipment.
So when the PS3 price was raised at Bestbuy/FutureShop is was "OMG SONY RAISED THE PS3 PRICE!" Now that Wii price was raised at the same store, people finally believe the canadian dollar dropped?

You do know what kind of affect that has... right? its just best buy being greedy nothing more . they want to rasie the price to hurt demand a bit and so they can buy more wiis . no other store has done this . only best buy and future shop they did the same damn thing with ps3 . no one els started it its always them witch makes them look bad. cus its there fault ! it has nothing to do with the canadian $
