That looks nothing like little big planet. But it does look fun it looks like an old PC games I use to play years ago. I can't think of the name thought.HarlockJC
Look at it starting from around 1:00, look at the level building and physics

BB's level building is faaaaar beyond the simple 2D level building of LBP.

Are you kidding? In LBP you could build any shape, any item, in any material. In Boom Blox you could only build square items with jenga pieces. And too bad, the level editor looks far more difficult to use, this game may not be online (so those levels you can't play any levels), and it doesn't have close to as good physics as lbp.Cows who were bashing Animal Crossing is gonna be talking about how Little Big Planet is so innovative!SkullboyX
The difference between those games is like night and day. Animal Crossing is like kiddy Sims.... LBP is like amazing physics coop gameplay and level building with a unique style.

 Dear lord, this looks freakin' awesome! I'm sold! :)BioShockOwnz
I agree. The castle destruction at the end....

But Wii can't do no physics. :(
And while we're on the subject, Elvis never did no drugs.
The physics reminded me of the 3000 barrel explode video of CRYSIS.
But meh, id rather have LBP
Koba123
Me too... except this is pretty limited, and it looks like it would get boring incredibly fast.
The Wii doesn't need a response to LBP, it has Animal Crossing. If you've never played, you simply don't know what you're missing, it's an addictive, surprisingly deep, time-consuming game. I enjoyed every minute of both AC titles.

^ See wut I mean ^Oh, that's Spielberg's game? I'll have to watch that. I didn't even know that the Wii was capable of that level of physics. :o
Anyway, it doesn't look like it's even a platformer and the community aspect will probably be nowhere near as strong as LBP's.

I could never get into AC, but I really don't like life simulating games in general.
These games are nothing like each other whatsoever...LBP is a sandbox online community game like Garry's Mod, whereas this seems to be a physics based puzzle game. So no, not the Wii's answer to LBP/Taalon
So wait, a physic based puzzle game with a artsyle that is "kiddy" according to preteens isn't like a phyics based puzzle game with an artstyle that is "kiddy" according to preteens?

no in LBP there are predefined spaces. you can select size and predefinded textures though. In Boom Blox there are blocks of different sizes as well as abilities. how does the level editor look hard? seems really easy esp with the wiimote. The game was already announced to have online. the BB is using Havok physics (just like most games) and is going to use it in 3d rather than just 2d like LBP.
so basically the only thing you may have gotten right was that LBP might have more variety in what you're given to start.(more predefined shapes and textures) but what you can make is pretty much like the stuff ppl can do with legos. A whole damn lot.
Everyone keeps saying this game is nothing like LBP. I don't understand how they are different. Yes, the blocks seem to be a distinct limitation, but outside of that, the games seem like carbon copies of one another.
Someone also mention the 3D aspect, which seems to be missing from LBP, but seems to exist here.
BTW why are we calling this a Wii answer? Is this game exclusive for Wii. EA isn't real big on exclusives.
looks annoying. Kind of Rayman-ish vibe to it.
Spielberg should concentrate on finishing Indiana Jones 4. Im still worried that Shia LeBouf is in that movie.

Wow your gasp of the English language is impeccable. . .
on topic:
unlike other PS3 owners i just do not see the apeal in LBP i just dont get it and now the Wii comes up with a similar game. . . wait untill it comes out and its been played before you people start drooling over it for no reason it could very well be annother Lair or it could be great who knows only time will tell. . .

That game was addictive. Quirky fun.
I was just taking a look over at gametrailers and saw this game here, the first thing that I noticed was that Stephen Spielburg made it but as I got closer to the end of the video I noticed the physics, cutesey characters and level designer that Little Big Planet has, it looks like the EXACT same thing except with blox.nevereathim
Guess Nintendo is ripping off Sony now...and no sheep are crying foul :P.

Animal Crossing is in no way as innovative as Littlebigplanet. Now you're just grasping for straws.
