WiiU releases expect superior graphics threads over a 6+ year old console...

Just like the 3DS and Psp.

Seriously, Nintendo would have to literally try to release hardware not superior to the 360 or PS3 given how old they are.

I personally found it funny that all the 3DS > Psp threads stopped once the Vita was revealed.

Do you think that the Xbox 360-2/720 (360 sounds alot better than 720 imo but call it what you want) is released or even the Ps4 is released (though I imagine them going cheaper this gen) that the threads will suddenly stop?

Then you get the good old, its all about gameplay...

It is inevitable and very funny. I mean it was funny when the 3DS was announced its graphics were touted as being superior to the Psp (like it was a feat of strength to out do a 5 year old console).

Not bashing the 3DS though because it actually has pretty good hardware just not as great as the Vita. The hardware is definately powerful though (Resident Evil Revalations looks astonishing) and a real step up from the DS.

When the TC says "360" or "Ps3", he actually means PC.

Er...I doubt anyone is expecting PS4 and NextBox to launch AFTER Wii U and be less powerful.

People are excited that Nintendo will make a moderate jump because it means they can get a system capable of next-gen ports plus Nintendo games are going to look sweet in HD with better tech if SMG2 is anything to go by.

The only reason people had to tout 3DS as being superior to PSP is because there were a bunch of trolls claiming 3DS was inferior or on-par with PSP.

There wouldn't have to be a Nintendo Defense Force if there wasn't a Nintendo Doom Squad to counter.

Kaszilla, Sony might launch more conservatively like they did with the 3DS and if that is the case then MS really needs to make a monster out of there hardware like the 360 was.

It is damage control because the Wii has been bashed to hell and back for its poor graphics, so sheep will have every right to shove cow and lemmings faces' in their own poop.

Yeah but the 360 actually came out a year before the Wii... The Wii U is coming out 6+ years after the 360. Go ahead though lol it will just look ridiculous when the next Xbox is announced and the threads stop appearing like the 3DS and PSP threads.

I mean the Psp was bashed for having a port heavy library with games you could play similar titles on a console... People claimed that GOW:COO did not count as a game as you could play God of War on the ps2 >_>

I mean the DS users were almost as bad as PS2 users used to be, they acted as if the Psp was not a legitimate system. I mean I have seen the Wii bashed pretty bad. Worst bashing in system wars imo. Psp came in second during its main run.

As a system warrior you must tough it up and be an exemplar for the system you choose to represent. I guess if your trolling the Wii U > 360 threads are a good idea but otherwise it will probably backfire.
