WiiU wll be more powerful according to an anonymous source

Usually I don;t like anonymous sources, but according to one that talked to the person that wrote the article the WiiU will not show a generation leap in terms of graphics at launch, but may show one once two mysterious games being deveoped currently for the system are revealed.Both of these games are multiplatform games.One is a racing game and one is a FPS/3PS.Will one of the games be the game that crytex hinted at a while ago.

You kinda got it,but I just summarized the point of the article which was that the sorce officially confirmed that the console was officially more powerful then the curent gen consoles.

on one hand you have 8-10 devs WHO HAS NAMES say it's on par with 360/ps3 but lower cpu speed...

while on the other hand you sir have a anonymous source say it's more powerful....

That's not official confirmation. I see what you are trying to say, but this is simply adding to rumours. Now, if this had come directly from a developer close to the console, without the use of anonymity, it might be a little more official.

Anonymous source eh? For all we know that anonymous source of Wii-U being more powerful than the PlayStation 3 could be secretly confirm by you. I do believe though that the Wii-U has a chance being more powerful than the PlayStation 3 but not the Xbox 360.

But a lot of the launch titles being released on the WiiU have either a higher framerate,or are better looking in many ways(ZombieU).

I thought Nintendo's goal was to be different not the same as the other consoles. I thought that was their goal all along and recently they have an article of one of the Nintendo employees discussing they don't want to be like other gaming devices. Nintendo should really stay out of the graphics and power house competition though. A little bit to expensive for their budget considering they don't really have experience with powerful games and the overall demographics that teenagers would want to play their console too. Families don't really need a powerful system to be happy especially when its about the games. I know Nintendo is trying to go for the "hardcore" look but they simply can not do that as well as Microsoft or Sony. They aren't geared for that type of thing which is okay since all their first party games do well anyway. shadowchronicle

That won't happen.The Xbox will probably be 6X-8X more powerful then the 360 while the PS4 will be 10X more powerful then the PS3.That is a smaller leap for both consoles then last gen.A game will be developed for it soon that shows how powerful the WiiU truely is.
