Will 2009 be the year of PS3?????????

All the Cows declared that 2007 and 2008 was the year of the ps3, so do you think next year is also going to be the year of the ps3?

I have to admit 07 and 08 weren't PS3's years but 09 yes, Home and MAG are going to make it for me, trophys are coming in, i've got both an 360 and ps3 and i recon PS3 will over take by some way.hoosier7

History will repeat itself.

A lot of cows are banking on MAG and GOW3 for 2009 when all we have seen are CG trailers and we know how Sony is infamous for constant delays. Killzone 2 CGI was 2005, and it released in 2009. I don't think MAG and GOW3 are coming out until at least 2010.

2008 was the year of the ps3, it outsold the 360 almost every month in almost every part of the world. Secondly, MGS4. That game was a serious system seller, no doubt. Konami has recently reported shipping 4 million copies worldwide, while it has already sold around 3 million in a month. Resistance 2, SOCOM, LittleBigPlanet, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Tekken 6 and if we are lucky Home are all slated for 2008. 2009 looks solid with Killzone 2, God of War 3 (regardless of the fact the trailer was CGI we know GOW can deliever), possible new Ratchet game, Uncharted 2, FF13, possibly FFversus 13, annoucenment new Twisted Metal, White Knight Chronicles, Team ICO, Kingdom Hearts 3. All these games will be making some sort of appearance on the PS3 for sure. Cant confirm many of those things or that 2009 is going to b year of the ps3, but i can sure say that 2008 and 2009 will be some sweet times for PS3 owners. hashimgillani1

agreed, The Box only has two very good games coming out for 08. Gears2 and Fable. PS3's lineup is a 10x better then the box's lineup

I dont even own a PS3 and I can recognize that the PS3 will take over the #2 spot, pushing the 360 to #3. I expect by the end of the year Sony will have closed the gap on M$, and next year will over take them. EvilAshTwin

I can see that happening at the end of 2009/ early 2010 as well.
