Will 360 sell more than PS3 this holiday season?

The past years the 360 has sold more than the PS3 , mostly due to price points, but now that their 120 GBare the same price, who will have the better sells after all the numbers have been counted. Many people say they have been waiting for this price cut from the PS3 just to buy one. Can the 360's price cut be enough to stay on top this year?

The 360 will not outsell the PS3 any longer. The reason the 360 was slightly outselling the PS3 is that it was a cheaper console. Now that the PS3 is the same price and gives you much more for the money and there's a Slim version, there's absolutely no reason to believe the PS3 wont sell more.

Why ?

• The 360'scheaper at the end of the day for the mas market
• More popular games than playstationthis holiday - Halo , Forza , Left 4 Dead >>>> Uncharted , Ratchet
• Mindshare/marketshare - more people already own them and more people will go with what their friends have , andpeople are talking their friends into XBL and 360s.

Well, that was said back in 2008 as well and then Microsoft did a little price cut and the rest is history. People also said the XBox 360 would never outsell the PS3 in Japan, yet it outsold it for 11 weeks straight and 13 out of 14 weeks overall. lol!! So never say never. Microsoft has plans in the works I'm sure.

Who knows? I think the XBOX will have more must have titles but Sony is banking Blu-Ray will make the difference.

Now what happens if the 360 still manages to outsell the PS3 this holiday season? Is it possible that a systems game library could be a fairly big determining factor when it comes to purchasing a console?

There's a small chance that it might. Europe, idk probably every close IF GT5 comes out. Japan, PS3 will just destroy the 360 if both GT5 and FF13 get released. NA, probably 360 cause of titles like Halo 3 ODST, Forza 3, and L4D2. Nonstop-Madness

the 360 still has the 199 arcade model. Ppl seem to keep forgeting that, and yes I know the arcade is a rip, but your average joe really only see's the low price point.

i waited 3 years for the ps3 price drop, just picked up my slim last night. it was a long wait.
