Will a dota game ever become big on consoles?

Is Dota 2 and that other game that looks like World Of Warcraft abit proof that Console owners have no interest in deep team games?

Will next generationz consoles with free2play prove console gamers will have a huge interest in free2play dota games or will they just be fleeced with FPS/MMO and Call Of Duty/Battlefield all the way through the next generation cycle for years to come?

I attempted to brainstorm actual good team games with depth on consoles in order to create a counter arguement. The best I could come up with is Team Fortress 2 and a watered down (already watered down) version of Battlefield. The offerings are sparse and few my freinds, sparse and few.

There is only one way to find out and that is to release those types of games on consoles.
