Do you think Banjo 3 will be about as good as SMG?
I'm hoping so. Rare has done some pretty good stuff with the Xbox.

From the one trailer that's been revealed over a year ago I can say without a doubt it'll be the best platformer ever made.
...
But seriously we can't possibly know until it's released.
I'm really excited to see what a 360 version of banjo could do. Not so much pretty graphics, which are still nice, but things like level design and gameplay, which have the potential to be expanded in interesting ways.
Im a sheep btw, although I have a 360

Really. I wasn't excited about Banjo until recently but my interest has gone up. i just remembered the N64 one and now I'm excited for a good one on the Xbox.
:D
Games that average above an 80 are trash?rare havent made a "great" game in nearly 10 years
It could be SMG good butmore then likely wont

Great logic there smart guy.
Viva Pinata and Kameo disagree.rare havent made a "great" game in nearly 10 years

Hopefully it will be up to par, I mean the original 2 were both better than mario 64. Not to mention most of the same team is working on the project. I expect massive levels of awsomeness and nothing less.dipper145those games were not better in any quality way to mario 64, they just expanded the content. Still awesome gameplay preserved and the end result is that they were as much an adventure game as it was a platformer, whereas mario was more of a pure platformer
I'm sorry, but SMG raised the bar and Banjo 3 will most likely be more of the same. Unless Banjo 3 is in space, SMG > Banjo 3.
This is coming from someone who thinks that Banjo Kazooie > Mario 64. Although Mario 64 deserves more credit.
That's because Nintendo used to have them delay games, Microsoft have been giving them strict deadlines.i really doubt it
but you never know
i just feel that RARE have lost a lot of their magic, and have yet to reach the high standards of the N64 era again

Deadlines don't work with Rare. It's basically the same people who made the original Banjo-Kazooie games working on 3, it's just Microsoft needs to get off their back.

That's not what he said. Rare have not made a great game since Conker's Bad Fur Day. Nothing since -- Starfox Adventures, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Live and Reloaded, PDZ and Viva Pinata -- has been on the same level as there greater games from the N64 days. It's not exactly 10 years, but it has been a long time. They used to be my favorite developers, but I'll probably lose interest in them if Banjo-Kazooie 3 doesn't return to that level of greatness (it's one of the main reasons that I purchased a 360).as much as i'd like that to happen, i seriously think it'll be a flop (not a bad flop.. but just not 9.0+) . i love banjo games and always found them to be unique and fresh, but i cant see Rare surpassing their previous works.
btw..does the new banjo look freak out any else?
