Will Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare be as good a port as Resident Evil 4?

I'm not talking about the extra stuff, I'm just talking about the core gameplay.

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, is in my opinion the best game on the Wii. It doesn't matter that I played it on the PS2, it's just the fact that aiming with the motion sensors at specific body parts was a whole lot more engrossing than it was on the PS2. No other game has been as good of an example of how a motion controller can really improve a game.

It actually made the game a lot easier. Some criticize this but it's obviously a good thing that most people found it easier to use as well as engrossing.

So Modern Warfare is the first very good first person shooter to be released on the Wii. This makes it different from all previous shooters available.

Do you think that after playing the first mission of Modern Warfare on the Wii that you will be more engrossed in the gameplay as many have been with RE4?

How as aiming done with motion controls? Wasn't that just a laser pointer? You wag the control pad to reload or whatever and do some other stuff but the aiming was just done with a laser pointer.

As long as you are speaking for yourself. RE 4 marked the beginning of the endof RE for me. Take the horror totally out of the game and make it a third person shooter.

Dude have you seen how ugly CoD4 looks on the Wii? even if it has the best online/physics/contoller (which will never happend) the game looks like a psp game so plz no one buy this **** port so activision wake da **** up.

To be "engrossed" in a game I want atmosphere. Controls need to be functional but dual analogs or mouse&keys work just great. As for CoD 4 it was a great game on consoles and a not so great game on PC's. I expect more from a shooter on the PC.

There hasn't been a great CoD since the original and a good one since the second. Besides, didn't Treyarch create the expansion to the original? Which kicked ass. People need to cut them some slack and stop licking IW "what can we learn from Halo" crack.

No no no... Resident Evil 4 was made by Capcom, a company that actually gives a **** about their games, and it also helps that the game was(and is) a great original game and was originally on it's predecessor. Modern Warfare on Wii will be half assed port of an "ok" generic FPS #89797 of this gen downgraded even further.

Who knows.
I'm enjoying World At War on my Wii.It's my favorite version.

I disagree that the quality of Treyarch games is below that of IW. The x-pac for the original CoD was the best part of MP. So, unless you can show me that I am wrong they made it.....

Absolutely not. COD 4 on the Wii will have atrocious graphics, choppy gameplay and MP so laggy it's like you'll be looking at a screenshot. clubsammich91

1) Dont compare a previous gen game ( 2003-2004 release for GC ) with COD4.

2) You see , graphics DOES matter in the end. Gives a lot to the whole atmosphere of COD , even if its not top nothc as Crysis. So in the end , graphics matter you see...

3) A fine example that , only a new way to play ( Wii sticks ) doesnt make better games. In fact are way worse than the original ( COD4 ). Do you still think graphics doesnt matter ? ... Well i dont think so.

Yes, CodMW Wii will be awesome. Yes I wish they would've just worked on MW2 Wii but at least the Wii is getting a great shooter. The game was awesome on the other systems but the only thing I was hoping for was a better control setup and here it is. COD MW with Wii controls is near perfect. This game will be great.
