But they should....
A modded RE4 engine version of RE5 for the Wii would be a real treat for Wii owners.

No, an original RE game with a ground up engine would be a real treat for Wii owners.
No because in my opinion it won't suit the Wii and anyway number 4 is better on the Wii than Resident Evil 5 is.
Unlikely.
But if they could port Dead Rising to the Wii, anything is possible.
I agree with this guy^^^[QUOTE="siLVURcross"]No. Even if they do, it'll probably be just a rail shooter of some kind.jimmarko21876This^^ So, they'd create competition between their own games? RE5 on-rails AND Umbrella Chronicles?? Thats smart. You guys sure put alot of thought on this
I doubt that they would get it, it was built specifically for HD consoles, graphics are one of its main things imho, if it came to the wii I get the feeling it would be severally watered down in content or have horrendous visuals.
A poorer graphics version of RE5 for the Wii by December. I think they will, They always do this with Resident Evil.Michael324
ahhh, no!
Speaking with CVG, Resident Evil 5 Producer Masachika Kawata slammed Wii as unfit to run his monster of a game. "Even the title screen of this couldn't have been done on PS2 or Wii," he states.

I don't see why you'd want it. The A.I is awful and wii online is equally awful, it'd be very frustrating to play.
I don't know. I have the 360 version, and for myself I was disappointed in the direction that RE5 went with gameplay. All the bright-lit environments and infinite ammo thru the "store" between chapters...where did the survival horror element go? Does anyone remember the PS versions of RE that made you jump out of your chair when you had to use those last 8 pistol rounds you had on some monster? That to me was RE, and I'd love to see something like that again for my Wii, instead of a watered-down RE5 port. Just my opinion.

You sure put alot of thought on this :P
No. Even if they do, it'll probably be just a rail shooter of some kind.siLVURcrossI don't think so because Capcom already has Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles (But those aren't Rail Shooters they are OnRail Shooters. Their is a big difference. Rail Shooters are faster paced, your character can move Up, Down, Left, Right and Back. You have full control of your character except which direction your going in Rail Shooters are games like Sin & Punishment, Star Fox, Rez, and Panzer Dragoon.
OnRail Shooters are slow and On a rail just following a predetermind path.

All they were doing there was over-hyping their game. Its nothing new. Its like when Sony said the PS2 would have 'Pixar graphics'. Personally, I don't want RE5 on Wii. I'd prefer a remake of RE2 or a brand new survival horror.
