Will Chrono Cross ever see a sequel?

People still talk about chrono trigger like it is OOT. Chrono Cross recieved the rare 10 here at gamespot. And for 2 generations now, nothing. We get one crappy FF game in this RPG starved gen.

How the Chrono series never continued is one of the bigger gaming mysteries, considering how popular Chrono Trigger was and still is.

My question is will the Chrono games EVER get mentioned again? I mean It seems like All Square Does now is Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, and Kingdom Hearts.

I doubt it, the only thing Square cares about now is making crappy game after crappy game with even more transgendered male charecters. Don't expect anything good from them ever again, IMO what Square needs to do is realise that they were a one trick pony and need to get back to their roots.

Stop this FF13 crap and all that other dumb stuff, go back to the days of Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross and FF7 and FF4 ect... you know back when Square actualy made GOOD games!

Chrono cross was suppose to have a sequel but its been canned.

There was a fan project in the works, but Square shot them down. Bang-bang.

I personally like Trigger better. I would like a sequel out that more. Like Magus is actually the bad guy, and tricked the party into helping him kill Lavos.

They are way to busy making failed MMOs and versions of FF13.

Rather not have Enix **** up the series, leave it be.

not likely Square enix is too stupid to figure out that people loved chrono trigger *chrono cross was simply put an abortion of a sequel that should never have been made* sadly the only remake we saw of chrono trigger was a fanmade one which was cease and desisted by Square because they got dick envy that a small group were making a game better, and faster then they were.

P.S: I dont count the DS version as a remake it had no real upgrade other then the new ending and a better script the optional fetch quest dungeon was idiotic.

Chances aren't high so far.

Rather have a True Chrono Trigger 2, starting good old Crono and gang. The lack of respect for them in cross was sicking.

Square and Enix have seperate developement devisions in the company.
All of Squares series are there for them to **** up themselves.
