Will E3 make or break the 360's fate for the rest of the year?

Its a fact that so far the 360 is lacking in the games (mainly exclusives) department.

My question is, if the M$ E3 show fails to deliver, how will the rest of '09 turn out for them?

It depends on if the games shown at E3 will come out this year. Microsoft could show of some amazing and intense games, but it won't mean a whole lot if they don't come out this year.

I think everyone is over reacting. Even if no 360 exclusive game gets AA this year who cares? There is plenty of Multiplat games coming out that i can't wait to play. The 360 will still probably sell well too, more than the PS3 unless it gets a price drop.

If only one AAA game gets announced to come out this year for the 360 it will be bad. Its like a perfect storm where all the PS3 devs are making a game this year (Guirilla Games, Sucker Punch, Insomniac, Naughty Dog, and the God of war guys, forgot who they are). Then the 360's big hitters are taking the year off (no Forza, true Halo, or Gears). Its like the perfect storm for Sony.

I think this E3 will make or break the 360's fate, period. If Microsoft doesn't show, I could see the 360 falling to third place and remaining there.

E3 is not the deciding factor of anything.

If Microsoft fails to deliver at this E3, then SW lemmings will be pissed just like sheep were with Nintendo last year.

If Microsoft doesn't deliver at E3, then i'm afraid to say my 360 will be getting traded in for a PS3. E3 might not affect peoples perception of the consoles or it's sales in the real world all that much, but if no good games are coming then I can see a lot of hardcore gamers that own 360's jumping ship.

kind of....if they don't announce mgs+ oxide or gears 3 or halo 4, you may be looking at one of the worst years of 360 gaming since launch. they only have forza 3 (the only exclusive as far as i know coming out this year) alan wake (also on pc) and mass effect 2 (coming out on pc and q1 2010) to carry their library.

if im missing anymore 360 games add it on here....but they need a killer ip exclusive...so i'm pretty sure they are stealing some franchise away from sony...
