Me Personally I think Gears of War 2 is going to be HUGE as far as attention and fanbase is concerned. Everyone I talk to on xbox live says that they are looking more forward to Gears 2 than Halo 3. Gears 2 will own the gaming market! Gears is a better game in my opinion anyway Your thoughts..
Honestly i still to this day after playing both Halo 1 and 2 cant see what the big deal is about halo. I have more interest in a Gears sequel than Halo 3...guess 4 mil plus cant be wrong

 I personally love the fact that there are only 8 people in a MP game. it makes the game much more tacticle. I've played COD3 where you have 32 people playing at a time. It gets frustrating when you are being fragged without even knowing it. In a 8 player game, your individual stradegies can change the game.

Bigger than Halo 3 ... probably not, as huge, definatly, the setting and art in Gears is way better for me, and Gears 2 could be FAR better and hopefully bigger than Gears, with more monster variety and more epic situations
Gears II will be great... Im a new xbox convert so I have only played halo once for about 45minutes with one other person, which was pointless... cant wait to check it out halo III but I bought xbox 360 for gears. Halo couldnt persuade me to buy an original xbox.
Gears SP was below the level of halo because of sheer length, story, music and strange minigames (the driving just didn't work. Sorry) Gears MP would be cool, if only they made a half decent netcode for it. Also the online setup is dwarfed by halo 2's, and that was an understatement. Sorry, I can't see what most people like about gears except for the graphics. That again, is just my opinion.
We haven't had any next-gen halo yet. People keep comparing gears to halo, which is a testament to how awesome halo 2 really was. But people need to remember it was a LAST GEN game.

You wont have a clue whats going on with the storyline, just so you know. They all follow directly on from each other.Â
