will halo reach be the halo 2/ce mix of this gen

halo 2 had the massive campaign Great multyplayer and fantastic guns :) with the halo ce story and wonderment and frightness of the first time you start fighting. do you think reach will be the halo 2 ce of this gen, also halo 2 was one of the best looking games of it's gen, reckon the same will be for reach I Do.

Reach will be the this gen CE, I have very little doubt.

I sure as hell hope not.

Halo 2 had a campaign that was downright poor, and marks the Halo series completely losing the plot in maintaining a decent narrative.

What I hope is that it is a solid game all round like the first Halo, rather the hit and miss that was Halo 3 or the messy Halo 2.

If it is, i'll consider buying it after release, instead of buying it on day 1 under the hype like I did with the third.

The single player will be great I am sure. As for the multiplayer....Call of Duty surpassed Halo a long time ago.
