Its not being made by Bungie so idk, what do you guys think?

After seeing some of the Gameplay on it I don't think it looks good... I loved Halo 2 and 3, but this is just an insult to the halo name...W1ckedGo0se
yea thats what im thinkin, if it sucks we'll just act like it never happened. keep it clean will be out soon after
Probably but sale wise and popularity wise it won't even be 1/5 the game halo is. It's just not an FPS.Kratos_OMEGA
On XBL whenever Halo Wars is brought up in a conversation I mostly hear people not being thrilled that it is an RTS game.
Game looks cool(the units and artstyle) and I like Halo, but I wish this game was on pc so I can use k/m. I haven't played a game which I enjoyed playing rts on a console yet.
Just because its base on Halo doesn't automatically guarantee it to be AAA. Halo Wars just has to prove itself thats all. But there's already a couple of AAA caliber RTS games, so if Halo Wars can pulling off an AAA caliber RTS game, then thats all that matters and not because its based on Halo. But I think it'll sell more than other RTS games because of Halo.

that's another reason it will flop. RTS exlcusive to a console. lol. If this game didn't have Halo in it noone would care....literally.
Considering Ensemble's past sucess, i think it'll receive a 9.7 or 9.8.stappyConsidering Ensemble's more recent failures, 8.0.

How is Age of Empires III a failure?stappyIt was an unmitigated flop and it was stuck in the past with gameplay mechanics. Ensemble is a developer that used to be excellent, but over time has failed to adapt to the modern times. This has been readily apparent in the recent videos for this game. They haven't been able to shirk off the spector of years past and bring in new gameplay mechanisc to the genre. It can't even begin to hold water to gamesl ike Company of Heroes, Sins of a Solar Empire, Empire Total War, etc.

those games suck. pretty damn badly actually. Gamer4535Yes, they suck so much that SINS managed to get a 9.0, and the Total War franchise has been one of the greatest RTS games of all tiem.

The Total War franchise doesn't even count as a true "RTS". It's just setting up your army, and then attacking. There's no resource-building, micro-managing, or anything the Age of Empires franchise had.

K buddy, time to stop talking out of your ass.I actually have both thank you.
First of all Sins is turn based, not even a rts. It's so boring imo.
Empire is meh. More of an army building game in a way. Not very fun either.
Company of Heroes on the other hand kicks those games *****

Now you are talking out of your ass.. Sins of a Solar Empire is a RTS.. There is no end turn function its all in real time..
Empire hasn't come out yet.. Rome Total War and Medieval 2 total war both got high marks.. Though they arn't exactly rts games..

Thats a gross misinterpreation of the Total War series, and shows how ignorant you are.. Total War is a completely different game, there are resources to the game, there is diplomacy.. And numerous other aspects.. Its not a traditional RTS game though.. And I consider combat really only a 3rd of the fun, its the fac tyou set it up and moved them around and the battle has a greater mean tha tmake it interesting.

Its this mentality that keeps the dragging the genre back to 1998...

If i wan't diplomacy, i'll play Europa Universalis III. Which, according to you then, also counts as a RTS.
Like i just wanna know why i would want to play this game as a halo fan, no master chief, The story is not worth anything because its a prequel and you know your going to loose in the end so what the hells the point? im not able to actually shoot anything, all im able to do is command a bunch of guys to have all the fun for me, like i mean Like the command and conquer series. when i wanna play halo i dont want it to play like command and conquerVendettaRed07
what? You do understand that the whole deactivation of the halos is nothing?
Its like saying Romeo and Juliet is a pointless story because you already know the end,
and pss.... you realize that the covenant, overall lost right with the halos breaking down and whatnot?
