Will i be trolled if i say Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart best platformer this gen?

Or you wish to argue otherwise? 2016 Reboot and Rift Apart are both insanely fun shooter platformers with high replay value ( Like upgrading weapons to the max , finding all gold bolts for cheats like invincibility / infinite ammo and unlocking cool armor/skins, new game + (Challenge modes) ) imo. And the graphics are mindblowing in both games.

Haven't played it. Heard it's quite average.

"Platformer" is vague, not sure if you want to be that vague or if you mean 3D platformer.
But here are some games I believe are better:
Metroid Dread
Prince of Persia: TLC
Blasphemous 2
Hollow Knight
Astro Bot
Psychonauts 2

My favorite of those is probably Hollow Knight.

If it's your favorite then it's your favorite. I don't see any issue with that.

Super Mario Odyssey is probably my favourite but Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is definitely a fantastic game and right up there as well.

2D one I would say goes to Kaze and the wild masks

3D one I would go with Super Mario Odyssey

Yes. Mario Odyssey and Astro Bot would like a quiet word.

R&C was good fun though.

Astro Bot is way better in my opinion. Then we also have Mario Maker 2 which is probably in my top spot.

I enjoyed it alot but I'd say it's more of a shooter then platformer.

Ori 2 is my favorite - technically it's last gen. Not sure what would be my runner up.

It is the best Ratchet game at least.
