I'm just thinking what kind of an idiot would buy a $100 Kinect to do a task that would be perfectly possible with a $10 microphone.
I dont think any PC gamers really care, but to answer your question, the controls for PC games are fully customisable no matter what control scheme you use, so if anyone does care then its possible to use Kinect in the PC version of Mass Effect 3 weather it officially supports it or not, just like it is possible with any PC game that exists today.

Wait kinect is coming to the PC. Well I guess that everyone will say that kinect is for casuals (I know Heil68 will say it) and will go PS3. Unless Sony pulls a move on us.

Motion controls have been around for PC for years, and everything this $200 "advanced" PC version of Kinect could do for games, a standard 30fps PC webcam can do just as well. The thing is PC gamers never bothered with motion controls anyway. The only use motion controls get on PC are in simulators, mainly racing sims and flight simulators for 6-DOF head tracking.
Ever since these types of motion controls have been around on the PC thats all they have ever really been used for and i cant see that changing with Kinect. Microsoft isnt even aiming Kinect on PC at the gamers, they know that PC gamers wont use it, they are aiming for another audience of PC users.
That can't be loosingends aka The Real Saolin. He didn't talk about any other 360 "exclusive" games with "true" analog joystick control and "enhanced" kinect support. It's a cheap trick!loosingENDS what you doin bro?

Will the PC version of ME3 support Kinect? Most likely not officially.
However, I'm pretty sure the Kinect voice functions are coded into the base game anyway. A little modding and it is possible to unlock that feature, on Kinect or even just a regular microphone.
$100 no no no no no. Try $250. That how much the PC kinect cost.I'm just thinking what kind of an idiot would buy a $100 Kinect to do a task that would be perfectly possible with a $10 microphone.

[QUOTE="AmazonTreeBoa"]I don't know. But kinect will fail on PC.pelvist

Nope, but cows make a big deal about kinect since they do get trolled too much.
MS is making a big deal of Kinect and shoving it in lemms face.command squad memebers with voice (go here, go there, regroup) and to read the dialogue options aloud.what is it used for? if its for UI/Companion control i can't imagine it being even a fraction as fast as key-binds.

Why the hell is the Kinect even required for this? Any ordinary mic should be able to accomplish the same thing.
Kinect support on Mass Effect is just as useful as adding Voice Recognition with your Microphone.
You don't need Kinect for that.
