[QUOTE="Trinexxx"][QUOTE="ArisShadows"] Left for Dead says hello. And people saying "why would they put something in the 1940's in?!", I meant the ZOMBIE part, not the Nazi's. Use some common sense, ugh.ArisShadows
I am sorry but I dont think you get what I meant. The tone and settings that were in WAW worked very well how the zombies were presented. I thought the bolt action rifles and other similiar weapons (flamesthrower, retro alien gun, pump shotgun, etc.) of the time went go with the pacing of the zombies, the cyptic fortifications of WW2, instead of trying to ecape, you had to defend. Its very different than Left 4 Dead, and Modern twist with its increasement on weaponary and technology would simply put off the feel of zombie mode that was in WAW. The theme of L4D and COD's zombies mode are very different and the modern elements just wouldn't work as great as say L4D.Ah, I see what you meant to say. And although I do agree with you, don't you at least want to see what could become of a modern version of Zombies? It was seriously my favourite thing to play in WaW and really sparked my interest in the CoD series (I got bored of CoD 4 pretty quickly - still a great game though, CoD 3 was garbage, CoD 2 was awesome). Maybe if they increased the hordes of zombies it would be more balanced?
Also, if Infinity Ward isn't interested, why not get Treyarch to make a few maps for them? (I know Treyarch are busy making the next CoD game, but this is definitely worth it!)
I guess I should be content with Treyarch releasing 1 more zombie map for WaW, though.
No, but MW2's unique mode is called Special Forces. Read up on it.dgsag
Yeah, I know about that mode, but this thread was a question on if Zombies were making a return. I'll keep an open mind to Special Forces, but I don't think it can replace the enjoyment I've had with Zombies.
