Will MS' E3 conference be even more embarrassing this year?

The Microsoft conferences has become a joke during the last few years, but do you think it will actually get even worse this year? Will MS continue showing off Kinect game after Kinect game, and crappy apps that's already available on PC? Could they really be that dumb, considering how everyone (even journalists..) gave their 2010/2011 conferences a lot of flak?

I say yes. I have a sad feeling that all they're going to show off is Halo 4 and a million useless apps.

Unfortunately, I still get the same feeling that MS's E3 will suck again. I'm predicting a crap load of Kinect like they always have been doing in the recent years. I don't even give a damn about Kinect.

Anyway, let's hope it will be a better one.

Halo 4 might redeem their E3 to some degree. Otherwise I fear there will be mostly Kinect stuff, and therefore a worthless E3 for me. Perhaps they will pleasantly surprise though.

yh it will suck and so will sonys unless they announce ps4(since theyve announced all their games on ps3 so far and shown gameplay).Nintendo maybe since i remember a ubi dev leaking the wii u to be 450$/£

Lets be realistic. It can't get any worse. It might match it, but it won't be any worse. Then again that's what I said last year...

A few simple steps , and they could have a watchable (yet boring) conference that goes by swiftly.

1. No kids or random kasuals doing Kinect demos - (just show a video or montages)
2. No "better with Kinect" demos. I don't need to see some random douche up there opening and closing his hands to a shooter
3. Let Phil Harrison host most of the time - (and no stupid smiles from Don Mattrick)
4. Don't trot out random celebrities
5. Don't have major industry guys like Cliffy B come out to talk about or show off a flipping arcade game

Their conference is essentially going to consist of some new YouTube/Bing/ESPN/Twitter integration and Halo.

Well apparently it won't have anything but Kinect and apps, but Halo 4 information should be better then a teaser, and hopefully the CoD presentation this year doesn't like like a cliched snoozefest like last year's was (I'm pretty excited for Black Ops 2, on PC though).

I don't find MS's conferences embarrassing, it's just that they are obviously meant for people that are not in the audience.Willy105

More embarassing? I don't know about that,
Though considering the fact that, as far as I know, they aren't doing two presentations for two different audiences,
I can't say that this will end well.

Another problem with Microsoft's past few presentations is their lack of focus.
What they need is their own Reggie but no one seems to like to hold the stage for more than 10 minutes.
It's always jumping around from one guy to the next, causing inconsistency in quality and jarring transitions.

I feel so embarassed for him. I feel embarassed for Ubisoft and Microsoft as a company.

It's ok to have Kinect for girly dancing games but keep that crap out of your conversation with "regular" players, we don't want to hear about motion gaming.

COD isn't exclusive anymore, the deal ended at modern warfare 3

All of you saying, "Oh they will have Halo 4 though" that is NOT even close enough to save their conference. They need to completely suprise us with new game announcements, not just showing off a game we already know about.

Personally the xbox conference will be the most enjoyable, i love seeing asian kids humilate themselves..
