They can put in gore + titehs.
why should they? seriously, give me one reason they should do it. just. one.BrunoBRSTo compete with Microsoft in the hardcore market.
To compete with Microsoft in the hardcore market. compete? you do realize they've completely owned the competition this gen right? the ones that should care about "being able to compete" are MS and sony, who are way behind in both hardware and first party software sales. so the reason you've provided isn't much of a "reason". anything more?[QUOTE="BrunoBRS"]why should they? seriously, give me one reason they should do it. just. one.Snyper007-2
Ninty's main franchises aren't really suited to that aside from Zelda.
I want a Zelda: God of War style to be made honestly.
calling nintendo kiddie im guessing your not so mature your self. A game does not have to be Adult to be good.

[QUOTE="BrunoBRS"][QUOTE="nitekids2004"]darksiders is over there.Lacks zelda's expertly designed dungeons. because it splits its focus on the gore and combat from GoW. it's the perfect "what if" scenario.Ninty's main franchises aren't really suited to that aside from Zelda.

All you did here was indirectly prove that Zelda games are in a lot of cases **** unless the label Zelda is slapped on. Thank you so much.[QUOTE="nitekids2004"]

Sure ONE game from 12 years ago, been there once n' DONE!MasenkoeYou underestimate the maturity of MM? It is so mature, it transcends generations. And since when does Nintendo not make mature games? The majority of their narrative-driven offerings tend to be a lot more mature than most M-rated games that are rated as such merely for gratuitous content.

Your missing the point. But that's ok, it wasn;t directly aimed at you. So I won;t go into a long explaination.I find excessive amounts of blood, great amounts of cleavage/breasts, tough big rough military men, excessive swearing etc. that are commonly found in many 'mature games' more childish and immature than say Disney movies.
TC is so insecure about his own maturity.
mmmwksil
Actually, TC is probably laughing his **** ass off.

That too. :P
Actually I feel it's either one or the other. Both doesn't really make sense.
Isn't Majora's Mask considered to be an incredibly dark game? Eternal Darkness? etc.Ravensmashuea I always thought mm was the darkest zelda game

they did publish some mature games in the n64 era.
Give me one damn good reason why Nintendo should go out of their way to make an M rated game just to appease a bunch of whiney gamers who are so insecure of their maturity that they actually think crap like blood and gore and sexual content make a game mature.

Weren't you a major cow on your original account?
You mean something with a big M on a box? Two things about that:
1. Nintendo stated themselves that they don't make games like that with their in-house developers as they don't feel as if it's their thing. If they ever do publish games like that, they get second party developers to do that.
2. Nintendo has published three Mature rated games by other developers (Rare, Silicon Knights, n-Space) and only one game was a success, the other two were failures.
The success at 1.3 million copies sold was Rare's Perfect Dark on the N64
The failures were Silicon Knights Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem and n-Space's Geist, both were on the GameCube. Eternal Darkness sold over 200,000 copies, while no numbers were specified for Geist as well as that game being hardly ever talked about.
The only thing "Mature" Nintendo is going to publish is Capcom's Resident Evil: Revelations, but that is in Europe, but really, you can't blame them for avoiding chances like this as they ended up getting burned in the the last couple times they did it.
[QUOTE="BrunoBRS"]why should they? seriously, give me one reason they should do it. just. one.ceelogicBecause appealing to a wider fanbase equals more money. Oh yeah, because appealing to an M rated audience worked SO well every time Nintendo did it.
Oh wait, IT ONLY WORKED 1/3 of the time. The other 2/3, they failed.
