Now do you think it'll last 5 or 6 years? I really have my doubts...walter09
Wouldn't we be near/in a new gen by then? But i'm sure they can keep a steady pace...
If anything, I think that the sales will increase when some actual games come out.
I mean, if the Wii can sell 3 million + when its only great launch title is a Gamecube port - surely it will sell more once the exclusive Mario/Metroid/Smash Bros games come out?

Wii sales are nearly maxed out right now. People are buying them as fast as they can be manufactured

i know so many people that are going to get it when smash comes out.EragontIsn't that a good feeling?
The Wii is just too original. Not to mention the fact that it's $150 less than a 360, and $350 less than a PS3

Exactly, then again I don't know if they can increase if Nintendo can't keep up with demand. It's almost 3 months after launch and Wii is completely sold out everywhere in my city right now. If Nintendo keeps getting games like Manhunet 2 and publisher to release their stellar titles on the system I have to say sells will continue to rise. You have RockStar developing for Wii now they didn't release one game on Gamecube. EA saying they will boost their Wii gaming titles production and I'm sure their are many other titles that haven't been announced thus far from third parties.
We still have yet to see any more info on SSBB the number one selling Gamecube game. Wii has sold over 4 million systems and continues to sell out and has yet to get it's most flagship title. Nintendo I think may really take that number one spot back this generation.
I really hope sales start slowing... so I can get one!foxhound_foxgo to target early sunday morning and one is yours
Yes, why??? No one wants to pay 400-600 bucks for games that are more complex and are prettier. Wii is simply cheap, innovative, and hella fun. Once online gets started, sales will shoot through the roof. And when there's a constant amount of Wiis at stores, all those people I know without one will have one and they outnumber the people with Wiis like 3 to 1 (guessing) which means that the Wii will have a great run and Nintendo will return to its throne.SkateGameYou would get more bang for your buck buying a ps2 instead of a Wii which is overpriced for what it gives you.
