Of course it is Nintendo's most successful console sales wise and it is close to the most successful as far as 1st party titles go.
Nop,Nintendo's going bankrup,no more consoles!MonsieurXhow? if they sell 140million DS and 76 million Wii, they got billions of dollars to use to make a new console and they are making the 3DS which many gamers are liking the titles that are planned. their first party game sales are far better than the exclusives of the other consoles

This is like asking if the sun is going to set tonight. Of course Nintendo is going to. Not only has Nintendo moved more units than both the 360 and PS3, but Nintendo has been seeing profit from each unit sold since the Wii first went on sale.
Also if you look at the game list for the 3DS you can see that third party developers are rather eager to support Nintendo products.
It is not an "if" but a "when" for the next Nintendo console. My guess is in the next 2 years we'll see Nintendo show something off, right now their main focus is on the 3DS.
[QUOTE="XiaolinPrincess"]How do you guys know that Nintendo is going bankrupt?Sp4rtan_3Because people said it was a failure. Umm the Wii has sold more units than the PS3 and 360 combined. Explain to me how are they going bankrupt again?
He said that Nintendo's next console will drop your mouth to the floor.Yes in fact, the Metroid Other M guy actually gave a comment about it not too long ago.

Others said he said it will knock your socks off.

First, you make a console that sells nearly as much as both its competitors put together. Then, you read that a bunch of 13 year olds on the internet complaining about said console, freak out, drop out of the console race and make games for Sony and Microsoft.
Yes. That's how the real world works.
Because people said it was a failure. Umm the Wii has sold more units than the PS3 and 360 combined. Explain to me how are they going bankrupt again? I just did. People said the wii's a failure so it obviously is the worst thing to ever come out so nintedo lost billions of dollars ad now is going bankrupt due to peoples opinions.[QUOTE="Sp4rtan_3"][QUOTE="XiaolinPrincess"]How do you guys know that Nintendo is going bankrupt?jasonharris48
Im going to guess that next years E3 they will show off a few more games that use the wiimote plus and also hint to their next console. Then at Nintendo's press confrence in Japan after the TGS they will announce that the Wii's successer will be coming for the holiday season of 2012.
Or, the could pull the rabit out of the hat at next E3 and announce something that will keep the Wii moving units for another few years.
But why would they not make another console? Miyamotoe or Iwata already comfirmed that it was going to have HD, why would they say such a great thing if it wasnt already in developement?

Yes, obviously. Why wouldn't they? The Wii has been nothing but a money machine until recently.

Of course they will, but it probably won't be officially announced until 2015 with a release on holidays 2016. And I have a feeling it won't be a traditional console as we know one day. Nintendo wants to take over not only your living room, but your entire house. Don't be surprised if you suddenly find yourself playing Nintendo games on your freezer or on your toaster. All we can know is that Nintendo's going to try something different. But what's the rush? Just enjoy what you have now. We have a new Donkey Kong game coming out, a proper one, isn't that exciting? Yes, Nintendo's consoles will be able to adapt and be everywhere, not just the living room.
its not if its wehn. i would have thought that 2011 would have been their year as the tech is so dated now. but move and kinect will have stole too much of the motion thunder in 11 so im thinking 12 for nin 13 for ms and 14 for sonySelling over 70 million consoles this gen would bring me to say that they definitely will.

I might of asked that question after the gamecube's life span was up... but the Wii? The Wii pretty much has it made.. It has money in one hand and success in the other... and those two hands belong to Sutoro Iwata.
no they are going to stop making hardware and go like sega even tho they are making more money then anyone on hardware.
